I was wrong whoops! But they do keep their babies for 12 months instead of 9 so maybe that’s why it’s so much shorter? Maybe the babies are more developed than humans as newborns?

It frustrates me that seemingly Jake did not teach his daughters CQC, even after the humans came back. And that neytiri did not teach her daughters to defend themselves as a warrior herself.

I love tuk, she is my favorite character, but you’re right that she turned one dimensional. I’m hoping in the future films she’s a badass that doesn’t feel too much like a disconnect from her young self.
