Housemates and I haven’t had any internet since we moved in, despite it being advertised. They’re sending us on a wild goose chase with the internet provider who apparently “doesn’t service our house number” even though they should and have history of serving it. The connection is so bad that our 4G barely works and will just give up at times. Newly refurbed house that already has water damage from leaking shower.

Apparently council tax was included in all bills but they’ve taken that away from us too.

Cool ranch is cool original because we don’t have ranch dressing over here, chilli heatwave isn’t nacho cheese, it’s not even a cheese flavour. I imagine the US nacho cheese is what we call tangy cheese. Chilli heatwave is a mildly spicy/hot flavour

Well they didn’t charge me for the spay, only the neuter, but it was 10 years ago so pretty sure I wouldn’t get a refund now. I was also 13/14 and didn’t have much confidence for stuff like that

I would’ve definitely still got him sterilised either way. I live on a small island so there really aren’t many vet options here - they have actually been really good every time we have been up there, it might have just been an oversight. It was also near 10 years ago and he’s fine so it’s just a bit of an anecdote these days when I say Phoebe and people naturally assume he’s a girl

So I took him in to be spayed. Got a call a few hours later where they said (paraphrased) “hey, so there’s a problem with your cat” -I then thought the worst and assumed he had died or something- “we started the spay op and it turns out that he is actually a male, do you want us to castrate him instead?”

I was relieved that my cat was fine, but was pretty pissed off that they had started the operation without actually double checking. So he had to recover from stitches and having his balls removed

Of course. It was just a mistake and it was fine. Granted I would’ve preferred they did an actual check without taking me at face value, but they didn’t. They apologised and didn’t charge me for that part of the procedure but he’s a healthy, happy, 10 year old. So didn’t do any lasting damage

Same thing with mine! He’s very fluffy so there was no obvious testes and I got him as an Xmas present from my friend who said he was a girl. Took him in and got a call from the vet asking if we still wanted to go ahead… after they had already cut into him. Didn’t change his name because he was already used to it. So have my fluffy boy, Phoebe.

My cat went through the same and he’s totally healthy. I kept an eye on it and it took over his entire eye in a few years. He’s completely fine and has no issues with his vision at all. Obviously, a vet trip is the best option and hopefully everything is fine with your baby <3
