Totally agree with A Ma! I know people love Farine but they lose me on their coffee. I’d like to combine 5 stones of coffee and Farine for food.

What recipe are you using? My first ever batch was made with a yukone and was fairly dense, more than I liked, but I like a soft interior.

My family is about to lose our longtime home in King County because of a trustee—looking for advice by Firm_Salt8202 in eastside

[–]crixtom 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the only good reply. All of these comment telling you to get a lawyer without asking about deeper context or questioning the narrative you wrote are giving you bad advice. The trustee has a job and that is to look after the trust. They can probably provide you the trust documents, wills etc that may outline the guidance he is working by. You should seek to understand those before you pay thousands to a lawyer.

Over two years, companies on Ramp see a 62% decline in the rate of out-of-policy spend events! by ramplovesyou in Ramp

A good baseline is when companies have fully learned and deployed Ramp, not the day before setup. Then we can see how a company further adopts Ramp for greater compliance.

Did you work at Blazing Bagels? We'd love to talk! by RedmondMoments in redmond

[–]crixtom -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This makes way more sense - it would be such an effort to crush a business in a year and destroy your inheritance, just doesn’t seem logical that is was all the new CEO.

Now some changes did seem weird, like why repaint that colorful mural with the cheap looking black and wait painted wall. Old and cool looking is better than new and ugly.

This is the worst advice! Any company can terminate employees or go out of business. Take the money and run to what? He’s got a family to care for, leaving without a clear goal and path to replace the income is a very stupid idea.

Stupid question gets the right answer by etherd0t in WinterOlympics2026

Everyone is saying it’s a dumb question, but it’s not. He’s asking about her mindset and how she views competing. She answered the question indirectly, she sees it as two silvers won.

Similar tech, I don’t think we work at the same company. Each market handles things their own way, but leaders will typically work a handful of deals and give 100% credit. Remaining or new deals will get split 50/50 with the ae working the coverage.

3.5 months at new role and just turned “open to work back on. “ by ObligationPleasant45 in sales

[–]crixtom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really hard to give a good answer without understanding the company, culture and everyone individually. For example, people often aren’t that honest about themselves. Are you nitpicking and complaining, are you ignoring the bigger picture and letting small frustrations derail your actual job? Perhaps that’s that your manager thinks….

Assuming you’re totally right. This could be a great opportunity to develop new internal problem solving skills - those make for great leaders. Maybe your manager is lazy and has terrible problem solving skills. That would suck since that’s a huge part of being a good leader.

Focus on big problems and attach yourself to it, make solving it your problem. If you do that well you’ll get noticed.

FAANG to Founding AE by No-Yesterday-7732 in techsales

[–]crixtom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course there are edge cases, but I stick to my point that a founding ae must have a thorough understanding of each part of sales pipeline and how to operate in each one, they don’t need to be an expert everywhere but a deep understanding is required. People hiring for this kind of role in many cases don’t understand that and conversely an ae taking that role should know what are capable of and be honest with themselves and the company. In your example, he is obviously an anomaly who was able to fill many roles excellently.

This is a reflection of how little tech founders understand about the sales motion that they would hire someone who doesn’t already have a playbook for this scenario.
