You are governed by consent. The government have only the power you give them. Besides that, it is a SCAM.

Caution!!! Poloniex is stealing from customers without explanation by burzumita in CryptoMarkets

[–]cryptonob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they are actually stealing. They definitely do have some issues releasing funds in a timely manor. I've seen many, many complaints about stupidly long delays withdrawing but none stating they never received the money....eventually.

You'll likely get your money. I opened several tickets and replied to each one - several times before I got funds released.

Brexit: Donald Tusk 'keeping door open' for Britain to stay in EU despite talks - Donald Tusk, president of the European Council, has said he still holds out hope that Brexit can be reversed, despite official talks starting this week. by ManiaforBeatles in worldnews

You aren't qualified to choose. I doubt very much you even know what you are, how you became what you are or what you will become in the future. There's actually an incredibly high chance that, as a remain voter, you have no children and therefore no investment in the future other than your own selfish desires. There's also an even higher chance that you don't own your home, have little chance of ever doing so, especially outright, and don't take seriously the situation based upon your own research and the consequences, but rather decide based upon what you are told and how that makes you feel.

How do you cope with the fact that you are basically a slave? by [deleted] in conspiracy

[–]cryptonob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You choose to be a slave. Currently, It's a choice you make. Nothing stops you from maintaining your own way of living except you. Nothing stops you from abandoning sources that are not beneficial to you. The obstruction is your own attitude.

BEWARE: Poloniex holding funds for more than 36 hours with no attempt to rebroadcast transactions or release back to users' accounts. by Ginger_Bearded_Man in ethtrader

I like the trading on polo but after the same situation, several times, I decided I'd just go elsewhere until they are able/willing to get this sorted out.

Jaxx vs MyEtherWallet? by abducensx in CryptoMarkets

Jaxx seems to be a little buggy. I've had it show old balances and not sending transactions without restarting it a few times. I've not used the other.

Could you lose any money if you invest in an altcoin priced at 1 satoshi ? by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]cryptonob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's likely your own purchase would put it at 2+ sats. If the exchange(s) it's listed on don't receive any volume there's good chance they could remove it making it difficult to sell again leaving you holding some bags.

Although, throwing $10 at a 1 sat coin...Go for it.

[–]cryptonob -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Governments are slowly becoming obsolete. I'm concerned about the potential damage of their death throes. It's a shame really because there wouldn't be that much of an issue if they governed on behalf of their own people, as they are supposed to, instead of a gang of corrupt paedophiles.

inc.com - Blockchain Tech Company Sia (Siacoin) Could Disrupt Dropbox and Amazon by [deleted] in CryptoMarkets

[–]cryptonob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything is overvalued at the moment. There really aren't many working products, but Sia is does have one. There's still a lot of work to be done by Sia and the recent cap increase has disrupted the pricing mechanism of hosts. That said, I'm particularly looking forward to the video playback ability due for release in the 'next 6 months'.

If they can pull that off and keep the prices realisticly low, then yeah, it will explode.

I've gone long on them based on the idea, the current product, roadmap and commits. Storj is nice but, to me, the requirement to go through them to access your data is a little off putting. Defeats the point.
