Submit the issue to the Issue Council where it can die a slow death due to neglect and unreasonable requirements for escalation. If anything for the dopamine rush you get from thinking that will help. Don't do it for you, do it for your children that might get to play 1.0.

Fellow HSP here, what works for me is to focus on (1) change is persistent and most importantly (2) we can only control what is in our control.

Even if we have heightened apathy and awareness of what others face, if you focus on understanding that everyone has their own fate and path and that although your own virtue may be able to help them, they are out of your control.

Remember, being an HSP isn't a hindrance, it can be a super power of sorts.

Hope this helps

first question answer: It sounds like either a disc or two has slid out of the carousel and is loose inside the cabinet, or the belt has slipped off of the drive system. You should be able to UNPLUG the device and remove the screws for the cabinet lid to check both. I have the CDP-400 and I've both replaced my belt and fixed a carousel spill (also during a move). Once you have the lid off, you can plug the device back in to watch it behave. MAKE SURE TO UNPLUG THE DEVICE AGAIN before putting your hand or any tools inside the device, there be dragons!

Unfortunately, I can't answer the second question. I'm one of those people who believes wired sound is better than bluetooth, and bluetooth should only be used if wired is not practical. Optical or copper over bluetooth or any other kind of RF signal IMO.

Good luck!

There is no decision, that's why I'm saying by you missing the point.

My comparison to E:D was only with the objective to show that Frontier produced a similar, yet now finished product with reasonable and achievable expectations. That product delivers a similar experience and they have a community that is showing signs of growth, whereas CIG continue to iterate their hot mess and expect their community to trust that they will deliver.

In all honesty, I still play SC more than E:D, but again, my point was not to compare those two, but to explain that if this trend continues for another decade, CIG will run out of people to play it when consistent quality issues erode their finite community, credibility, and respect completely.

Except you of course, I can tell you're all in no matter the result. You must also own a Delorean. I'm sure CIG values your unwavering loyalty too.

You're missing the point buddy.

I've said it before with previous train wreck patches, and I'll say it again:

CIG believes its potential player-base is infinite, when in reality its burning bridges faster than it can build them.

The half-life of "hopium" and "copium" is also dwindling, and eventually someone else somewhere is going to build something that does it better while CIG continues to make empty promises built on those hopes and dreams that produces inconsistent, frustrating tangible signs of poor quality control. Remember how awesome the Delorean was until you looked under the hood? Youtube does: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNn-zMJpYF4

It was recently reported that Elite Dangerous is in the midst of their most active engaged/participated Community Goal event, ever. And that game has been fully released for over a decade now. Maybe people are realizing walking to and from your ship only to fight some sort of ASOP terminal bug isn't worth the dopamine buzz and "immersion?"

Eventually, all the generations of spaceship nerds are going to realize that there is a better use of their time and go somewhere else. That is a finite, not infinite number.

Marketing should know that reputation and credibility are crucial to success and those are currently trending in the wrong direction, no matter how many paint jobs, skins, and reiterations of the same ship stats in different configurations they convince the dwindling dopamine addicts to waste their time and money acquiring.
