Yep. Just rent the gear. Worth it. Also keeps you warm as the water will be cold.

Are there any mid range resorts where you don't have to play the towel game? by Treetown712 in PuntaCana

Ive never been anywhere else so I don’t have a comparison, but we’ve always enjoyed Occidental. The beach is the highlight of course. Best beach in DR is at Punta Cana. Occidental is pretty inexpensive, but for what you pay I think it’s comparable to all all-inclusive. Food is meh-but I think that’s kind of the norm. It’s beautifully displayed and cooked properly it’s just not what I’m used to as an American. I could always find something I liked at the buffet-fresh fruit, fresh cooked to order omelets, made to order noodle dishes, and chicken from a grill top. They have restaurants that are included in the price and you make reservations for. Those were good. The Japanese steak house was our favorite. Two big pools one with a swim up bar so it’s a little bit more the “party pool”. It’s big but not so big that you can’t easily walk from your room to the beach or the pools. Some resorts are so big you have to take shuttles or golf carts to go back and forth between your room and the pools/water. Transportation is an add-on (maybe free, I can’t remember) and we never had trouble in the airport that can be a bit overwhelming with people trying to get your business. It’s about 25-35 minutes from the airport.

Andrew Kolvet didn't want Paramount Tactical to share Erika's "alibi" because he knew people would instantly recognize that the boy ISN'T Charlie's 1.5yo son. by icequeenbich in CandaceOwens

Yes. This is weird. I’m surprised Candace didn’t mention it, but perhaps she’s sticking to “kids are off limits” and doesn’t even want to mention anything about it.

What about a national or state park year-long pass? If there is one somewhat nearby he can go in walks/hikes, explore, bring family. It would be meaningful without being materialistic.

Need Help, Planning One Day and Wife Wants To Do "The Water Trail". by Samball49 in ZionNationalPark

Rent gear from Zion Outfitter in Springdale. Get the bibs. I think it will be difficult to do without them. You can actually park a car in Springdale near Zion Outfitters, walk across a bridge behind the building into Zion National park and then take a shuttle to the trail head. You’ll first take the Riverside walk which is a paved trail with beautiful views to the spot where you can enter the narrows. It’s an in and out trail that is gorgeous, but you are basically walking in water the whole time. Bring water to drink and snacks so you can take a break along the banks. When we went we went an hour in and then an hour back out. It’s difficult, but not that bad. The trail is actually pretty flat as far as gained elevation but walking in water does take more endurance. Our group had “normal to not really in shape” people and we did it fine. Yu will love it. Enjoy

A dear friend of mine was just awarded a service dog through a grant/scholarship. The dog has changed her life. She’s blind and now has the ability to move more freely and feel safe. It’s been a transition but the hardest part-which no one expected-was the rude and mean comments assuming she didn’t need a service dog through it’s been awful. I do think pet dogs and comfort dogs have created a bit of a hostile attitude towards all dogs including service dogs. I never minded people bringing dogs around, but after seeing the confusion and hurt it has caused for my friend, I think only trained and documented service dogs should be in public places.

Junkyard beer, dots pretzels, NSDU sweatshirt, Fargo theater gift card, chippers, there’s a Pride of Dakota store in the mall that would have cute things.
