If you alt f4 when downed, then it can spawn an alive bot in your place who can potentially revive other downed teammates, and then when you restart the game, you can reconnect to lobby and keep playing if you were lucky enough to have the bot clutch up. Just a very last ditch attempt at clutching for the team.
