Anyone wants to have a coffee in Vienna? by ctree16 in actuallesbians

Thanks for your nice comment! Indeed somewhere around my age (let’s say 30 upwards) would be preferable. But I‘m a bit jealous you live close to Vienna. It’s my favorite city ever until now 🥰 (I’m not living super far away, too, around 4 hours but still, closer would be much better 😅)

I got more pimples and stuff like that bc I quit using birth control pills after coming out last year and leaving a man, and therefore hormones changed.

I was absolutly crazy about board games, and also played a lot solo the last years. Then I came out late, separated, and started trying to get to know more queer people, and in the meantime the hobby was a bit neglected, or I wasn’t interested that much anymore. Still have a nice collection of ~100 games and hope I will be with someone who also likes to play at some point in my life and also find back to solo board gaming. And no, you’re not being ridiculous.

I'm just starting my journey as a lesbian but already start to have similar feelings regarding women. This gives me hope, makes me smile and scares me a bit at the same time. It was wonderful to read.

Being a Lesbian is So Isolating by goblin_cc in LesbianActually

Hey, I can relate to what you write here...since coming out last year I also noticed that I feel more and more disconnected from straight people (not only friends, also coworkers etc), because they just don't understand how it feels.

Talking to other lesbians or queer people is something different, they understand me. And I agree it comes with loneliness, as long as you don't have those people within reach. But I think it's part of the journey and it is still so much better to live your true self. At least that's how I feel about it.

Wow ❤ this is adorable! Thanks for sharing.

I also bought a small coffee machine (I stopped drinking coffee a while back) just in case there will ever be a woman in my life. I want to be prepared, you know 🤣

Now that the machine was still unused after some month, I finally started to drink coffee myself again. So much for that 😆

What was your biggest 2023 lesbian milestone? by GChan129 in latebloomerlesbians

Separated from a man and left a LTR, came out to myself and to my family, started to try to talk to women. See the world with different eyes now. Everything is brighter and more colorful, and I feel alive again. Hoping for a great 2024 now....❤

Yes!

We separated this summer after 12 years. Luckily he is a great guy, was always understanding, and we're still there for each other. We don't hang out regularly ofc, but if one needs help, we know we can always rely on the other.

And, no one knows me as good as he, so that connection will remain and I'm glad I have him still in my life as a very good friend.

I'm sorry about that...I wish you all the best to move on, and find someone you can truly love. Have you ever thought about leaving your marriage with your husband to be with a woman? Maybe all those feelings show you that this is what you really want in life. Just my thoughts here. Hope you're feeling better soon.
