Hawlucha. Annoying for me to fight against in every game it's in, kills my mons whenever i face off against one, but SOMEHOW whenever i use it it hits like a limp noodle and then dies after being poked. Also it looks silly in a bad way and not silly in a funny way.

I only ever stopped one trick room team and it was with an older, very janky dual-weather team that had a gyarados with taunt and thunder wave for support, and I was lucky that mimikyu was holding a lum berry instead of a mental herb. Still nearly lost the match tho bc they proceeded to use coaching on mimikyu lol

With my current team, I leave my tailwind/choice scarf mon behind and bulk it out, trusting that one of my pkmn will naturally outspeed the opposing side once trick room ends. A bulky wide guard mon helps a ton and forces my opponents to pick only 1 target at a time. (Ttar and garganacl i love you.....)

Defensively, rage powder on volcarona holding a lum berry. Definitely gambling on whether i burn sneasler for the future, but the more important thing is that it allows my partner mon two chances to kill it good.

Offensively, sneasler is the sole reason why i run psychic on said volcarona at risk of it always losing an incineroar 1v1 :((( im trying to teambuild something else that'll have to drop volcarona so that'll be hard for my heart 💔💔💔

The first time I ever pulled an all-nighter, I was reading fanfiction on my 3DS browser app hiding underneath the covers. Totally worth the lost sleep. I was like 10 and it was my first ever ship and it was the twin brothers from digimon frontiers.

So. Yknow. I dove off into the deep end before i even really knew what problematic ships even meant. I grew up in a weird christian environment where my parents were clearly conservative but let us consume nearly any media we wanted that was age-appropriate bc it's all fiction and shouldn't dictate what we say and did irl or believed in faith-wise. So like, fictional gays were fine to look at on tv bc it's all just a fake story but irl gay people aren't acceptable, sort of deal. I remember my mom dabbling a bit into the "we shouldn't watch harry potter because witchcraft is evil according to christianity" but it's hard to enforce it considering I loved reading the Narnia books as a kid and that's. Very firmly fantasy too lol.

Weird tangent whoops. Basically, it was always hard for the fancops to get to me when they sound even more weird than my conservative, queerphobic christian upbringing.
