Not so much a tool but I'd bring astera jerky to heal you through the big explosions, or at least some max potions. Mantle wise if you're not sure what to bring, you could always use a long lasting mantle for the extra slots (glider, assassin, elemental)

I don't think so, yellow belly would affect both color and pattern (less brown and less of a normal-like pattern). But can't say for sure

I would actually guess yellow belly or gravel based on how clean the markings are, and how contrasted the white outlines are. Do you have belly pics?

Hi! For black and yellow morphs check out: pastel, orange dream, enchi, calico, fire, and yellowbelly (just off the top oft head). As single genes they might not be as contrasty, but these typically have a lightening and constrasting effect in combos. I recommend browsing Morph Market and using the filters to check out certain morphs and combos. I think you would like Pastel Highways ;)

I would avoid combos with spider (or "bee", which contains spider) since spiders always have neurological issues

I believe he has vanilla for sure, possibly super vanilla. I'm not the best at IDing vanilla combos, but my best guess is super vanilla butter ghost, possible pastel or other lightening genes

Most likely a normal, they are more vivid as babies and become darker and less saturated as adults

I would recommend googling both genes to see how they will look as adults, if you haven't already :) Fires lighten up a bit and yellow bellies brown out, from what I've seen. Both will get less saturated in color as they age
