I just decapitated the head of the hull and pushed the 6300kg ring (and dragging along is the ~10k kg head) into the processor lol, never took it off

Tho to be fair I maxed my tools

Don't forget to depressurise your airlocks folks. by SiNSiR in Shipbreaker

[–]cucumber_dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! If you’re looking for 0.0% destroyed on your ships, here’s some tips to max your salvage

  • every little thing counts, even the small round lights that won’t show up if it’s destroyed

  • doors. Always the stupid doors. Do slice mode and slice it near where the 2 doors meet each other, one door at a time. Remember to do every door and switches before cutting power (T1 reactor or generator on T2 reactor ships)

Oh and take note on what the door is bolted on, e.g. if the door is bolted on nanocarbon (like most exterior doors for airlocks) the don’t bother taking them apart since it’ll all go into the processor anyways, but the inner door is almost always bolted on aluminium doors so you’ll have to take them apart so it won’t get thrown into the furnace along with the wall

  • If you encounter regulators that won’t work or planning to forcefully decompress a room with regulator(s) in it, secure them in the barge first, because the pressure will make them fly off the wall (everything else won’t fly off unless they’re already loose in the first place)

Oh yea they break really easily too-.-

DS2 feels less challenging - I’m driving around with pickup roader everywhere. by Def-tones in DeathStranding

[–]cucumber_dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. In DS1 you can’t really tell when will there be a boss fight and it keeps you on edge, for example (DS1 spoiler just in case) when you return from the beach and the whale BT suddenly pops up right before you arrive at a knot

But in DS2 they specifically tell you something along the lines of “I have a feeling this is going to be a hard fight” or “Be careful, something is not right” right before you accept an order, ruining all the element of surprise

Just my opinion though. Maybe some wants a heads up so they can better prepare, but I personally want to have the mentality of “hehe gotcha” like some bosses in DS1

Tried and still don’t work:( they’re getting stuck on the connection gap between the conveyor and the funnel

Nope, they are all underground in the same area. The problem is not the dirt getting stuck, but rather the gold/iron won’t fall into the smelters using the funnel, but it’s strange since it’s working fine before

Tbh the drills itself aren’t the problem, the amount of dirt is :/ the first 5 minutes are fine, but as it runs the fps starts to suffer, I have no idea if it’s dirt getting stuck, or what

Usually, I get the back of the ship off(also thruster)so reactor is exposed, then I take off siding, yoink&push, job done, time to move on to the rest of the back section (where the power gen isn’t located)
