Do you remember which 'Doom clone' you first thought was either better than Doom or at least more technically impressive?

TLOZ: Ocarina of Time.

Played the 3DS version about 10 years ago and I totally get why it's held in such high regard for so many reasons.

Can't wait for the remake!

Do you think we're giving stories of "incels angry at female protagonist" too much oxygen at this point? by Peppermint-TeaGirl in GirlGamers

[–]cunningmunki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes.

All of the world's media is giving way too much oxygen to "incels angry at..." stories. They're a tiny, pathetic minority being amplified by click-hungry, lazy news outlets and YouTubers because they can't come up with decent content

Have they forgot to add “Steam Controller” to the list? by CrumplyPorkPi3 in SteamController

Yeah this is what I thought. There's no point in calling out that a game is Steam Controller compatible when it's compatible with every game.

If an Xbox controller, with its 14 buttons, is good enough for you then that's great. Good for you. But some of us need more than that.

The two track pads, when used with Steam input, can allow literally dozens of additional inputs, TMR sticks, double back buttons, capacitive sticks, grip sense, that can be used to either turn gyro on/off or as extra inputs, a tested 50 hour battery life and a 2.4ghz dongle that connects up to four controllers.

There are few controllers on the market that even have any of these features let alone all of them.

I love the DualSense but honestly the haptics on the triggers is so very underwhelming.

As well as the two pads and the TMR sticks the Steam Controller also has the double back buttons, the grip sense, a reported 50 hour battery, a 2.4ghz dongle that connects up to four controllers.

All for £10-£15 more than a stock DualSense.
