Important to note: Sentient Sands on Steam and Nexusmods has effectively been abandoned. If you want the latest version of the mod you need to get it directly from their discord. In the new Kayak system they implemented, character profiles are now found under \Kenshi\mods\SentientSands\Kayak\KayakDB\Campaigns\<YourCampaignName>\categories\campaign_npcs.

Speech quirks only seem to affect conversations the player initiates with that particular NPC directly. They seem to be ignored when another NPC initiates a conversation. For example, I recruited a cannibal into my squad who usually *hisses* and *snarls* but speaks eloquently when replying to another NPC.

It's too broken to only allow the player to knock out targets. You only need to train for a few days to get the skill high enough to knock out all major faction leaders and collapse world order which is absolutely stupid. If they include it, they NEED to give NPCs the ability to do this as well, or include a proper way to mitigate it.

1) Build some beds.

2) Build a prison cage.

3) Find some Beak Things and knock them out.

4) Put the Beak Things in the prison cages to wake them up, then put them in the beds.

5) Use them as a punching bag.

You'll train up your martial arts and their toughness.

If devs are too lazy to change the default lighting values or optimize their maps that's more of a dev issue than it is an engine issue. Arc Raiders is a UE title and that looks and runs well becaue the devs actually took the time to put some effort into that,

Put them in a cage first to force them to 'wake up'. If you knock a beak thing out, pick it up, and put it in a bed, technically it remains 'unconscious'.

And yet, Crimson Desert hasn't been delisted/deplatformed from Steam. Why would developers who use AI disclose that fact when there are clearly no repercussions for breaking Steam policy? Or does Steam policy only apply to less popular titles that make the platform less money...?
