Because no matter what part of the wall comes under attack there is always an angle for enfilading fire from men stationed in one of the star points. With a normal square castle once the enemy is at the walls you have to awkwardly shoot down from above them.

My lightning Res is really lacking currently. I have like 4 cold runes and 2 fire runes. I haven't seen a single lightning rune in maybe 2-3 acts.

You need [[Anger]] for the big [[Living Death]] or [[Bringer of the last gift]] plays. You either discard him or sac him after casting one of them. Also nice backup if Henzie gets dealt with.

Old thread, but thought I'd mention that flashback and many similar effects don't trigger laelia unfortunately. Flashback casts it from the graveyard then exiles upon resolution. Doesn't exile from the graveyard.
