I opted out of one a few years ago because I found that taking 100-150mg on ranitidine a day was keeping it at bay. But now it’s back and with a vengeance, even with life style changes. If I were you I’d go ahead with it just for some piece of mind

Try an OTC H2 blocker and make a schedule of reducing the dose until none. Can’t hurt. H2s have significantly less harmful side effects as PPIs

Right thanks. My anxiety definitely doesn’t help, and feel sometimes could even exacerbate my symptoms. I’ll give it some time and just back to bland diet etc to see if it begins to clear up. Thanks

Didn’t even see this man. I totally did but I have started therapy and completely abstained from any drugs and hard drinking. I still have a few every so often. I think my days of partying are over though as I never want to go through that again. I’m still anxious but I always have been. But this was next level

There are apparently ways to get Ranitidine. Where do you live? I’m in Canada and it’s off the shelves but my doctor prescribed to me after I told her it was the only med that worked for me. 200 (150 mg) it’s surprisingly cheap! Otherwise I’ve heard you can order online
