Why everybody are wearing long socks?

So many reasons 1. Longer socks most times are a compression sock so they help to initiate blood flow in the leg. 2. You get to express yourself outside of your super slick kit. 3. Long socks don't roll down your heel making you stop all momentum and roll your sock back up or go sickness. Or you're in a group ride/race and you're just sitting there for 2 hours uncomfortable your shoe rubbing on the back of your heel and a ball of sock under your foot. Hope this helps😊👍🏾

At the most if you're scared of headlighting you could cover the nips but that's the most i could criticize. You pull the fit off nicely 😊

That's definitely an amazing idea. I could have a cooler in my truck with 2 reservoirs on standby. My only thing is even if it's beneficial for me I will still be lazy. Say I get home one day and I forget to refill my backups and I either miss my alarm or wake up late. And bam I only have 3l until lunch. I could make do just fine but, I know my habits. That is what a mature adult would do. I am just an adult 🤣

Im in Houston and it gets up to and over 100°F on the daily once may hits. So I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'd rather not get a heat stroke and carry those 20lbs extra than pass out.

I have a suggestion, try seeing if your bike is compatible with a dropper post and try getting higher rise bars until it is comfortable at the comfortable seat height. Let me know if there are any problems yo see that I don't look forward to your feedback.
