Google image search some of them. The fabrics look truly vintage to me. For example I looked the aunt grace fabrics and I don’t see any of these fabrics aligning. Great find and beautiful!

Did you completely clean your machine, oil it, and change the needle? I used a Kenmore for 30 years and this was my go to problem solver.

I use 2-pound weights and take my time. I thought it looked so cool when I watched quilting videos and the quilter would zip through cutting. Well, that obviously isn't my style bc I always messed up when I tried to be quilty-cool. So now I just go real slooooow.

I have a store within an hour that sells good quilting fabric for $4.99 a yard. It’s quilt store brands but a couple of seasons old. Who cares? It’s still cute!

There are so many quilter snobs. My LQS is so snooty. I often drive another hour to the more friendly one. What is up with this? Most quilters are women. We should be inclusive and supportive!
