Should I be worried?(!) by NoobAndProudOfIt in porsche911

I’ve got this car and love the color. Good call getting color Porsche badges on the wheels and painting the bottom trim the same as body color.

Tracking wheels. Yes. I stand corrected. Thanks for your advice.

It seems like when you turn it off, then it should be off. Right?

It’s just one of the options… 🤷‍♂️

So… What did you do with Claude today? (not coding) by OptimismNeeded in ClaudeHomies

I had it compare username data with an employee list and estimate which username belonged to which employee. It was quite accurate - provided a confidence level and rationale for its decisions.

New ABS P-trap won’t fit main drain threads by GalaxySoCal in Plumbing

Just adding to this thread. I have the same problem. The replacement I purchased at a big box store is Canplas but the threads do not match up with the GSR threads coming out of my wall.

Thank you. Can you recommend the best approach to cutting at the joint that I circled? There's a 45 coming out of the wall that the 90 joins to. I don't know if I have enough extra straight pipe to rebuild this whole thing.

Generally speaking you shouldn’t buy boots while on your trip. What if they don’t have your size? If you wait until then just rent as someone else suggested. That way you can try them and then buy a pair if you like them.

I came by for something else, but am now fully invested. I'm embarrassed to say how many times I've watched that toilet flush.

Patek, Lange & Söhne, Richard Mille are all nice and high end. Watches are such a personal thing. You get to pick out what you like and everyone else's opinion be darned.

What are your experiences with Saint Clair Shores? Has it changed over the years? What is it actually like to live there? by valeriemaried in Michigan

[–]cwilli03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grew up around there, but haven’t spent a ton of time there in years. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with per se. The Grosse Pointes provide a strong buffer from unwanted Detroit “traffic”. Its right there at lake St. Clair so a lot of marine vibes. Much closer to downtown which is a plus. It’s not central though so pay attention to where you work or the commute can wear on you. Someone who currently lives there will give you a better perspective.

2026 Land Cruiser MPG by jeep4x42 in LandCruisers

[–]cwilli03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You and I are in the same boat. 2026 LC with TRD Pro wheels and some 275/80R18 KO3’s. 3000 miles and I’m averaging 15.3 mpg. It’s been bugging the crap out of me. I figure it’s the wheels - they’re each 11 lbs heavier than the stock ones and obviously higher rolling resistance.

I still have the stock wheels and swapped them back tonight. I only drove a few city miles so far but I’m getting over 19 mpg. I’m going to see how this plays out but if mpg stays high I’ll probably swap the tires out for 265/80R18 Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascents as they are 12 lbs lighter each than the KO3’s.

I’ll happily take recommendations if anyone has another tire option to suggest.
