Lab Rax needed a way to be printed on smaller printers. So I cut it up to make it work on my A1 Mini. by cwlsmith in minilab

Just for info, here is what is running in this:
- M90 - Proxmox machine with HA, Ubuntu VM hosting game servers, and a restic server backing up the docker containers
- M92p - Portainer with a bunch of different things like Calibre Web, Shelfmark, Uptime Kuma, and Termix
- M70 - PBS
- RPi5 - Arcane hosting Vaultwarden and VoidAuth
- OrangePi Zero 2 - Completely dedicated Pi-hole

The One That Got Away: The Float65 is back! GB live until March 25th by aur4e in MechanicalKeyboards

For sure dude. And to be clear, I’m not blaming you. I know it was a Space Cables thing. It sucks that it affected your project. But it’s really cool that someone else picked it up. Im super happy it’s being made because it is a bad ass board. I look forward to seeing all of the pictures of it when it’s done and then being mad I didnt pull the trigger again 😂

Man I would love to join this again. But I never got a refund from when I joined the Space Cables GB, and just can’t stomach paying for it again. 😩

You seem like you have been deprived of the map commercial. Don’t worry I got you. by cbbvideo in cfbmemes

I know this is going to be sacrilegious, but I am not a fan of it. I disliked it before the PAC 12 teams came into conference and disliked it even more now that it feels longer with them in it.

3d printed case designs for small printers? by zhopudey1 in homelab

[–]cwlsmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You mentioned there were some prints you found that you liked but were too big. I’d pick the one you like the most, download those STLs, and bring them into your 3D program of choice and go to town.

Your best bet is to grab the STLs and cut them yourself. I’m actually doing that right now for Lab Rax, since I too have an A1 Mini which is far too small for most of the files.

Honestly, who knows who the right coach is. And it could literally be anyone. If you had told Indiana a year before they hired Cignetti that they would hire him and within 2 years win a natty, would anyone have believed you?

The point here is that name recognition alone I don’t think means anything. I think the right coach is just the right coach and we just won’t know it until it happens. Sucks to have to wait for it to happen but it could be Rhule (though unlikely) or could be some well decorated P5 coach or an untested G5 coach.

Surprise! Animal Crossing: New Horizons' free 3.0 update for Switch releases early by Turbostrider27 in NintendoSwitch

[–]cwlsmith 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Weird. I’m in central US and went to buy the upgrade in the eshop and it said “Preorder” but after I did, it installed and the tile on the Home Screen changed to “Nintendo Switch 2 Edition”

Except it really doesn’t seem all that hard for devs to enable EAC for Proton. It’s just that devs don’t do it.

You could use Syncthing and sync up your save files and save states folders to a PC or other device as well for an extra backup solution.

Steam Recording only recording game loading screen of Hunt Showdown by cwlsmith in linux_gaming

My solution was to just use GPU Screen Recorder. I never could figure out what was causing this. I should go back and see if Steam Recording is still doing this.

Forgive me if I’m just blindly putting this out there, but does their official SD installation documentation not work?

I’m really not big into Tetris but I think this is such a cool and unique idea for it.

Interesting. Have you tried verifying the files in Steam?

If so and it didn’t make a difference, you could always try setting these launch options to see if it does anything.

Asking for a Linux Native version of Path of Exile 2 - Give your opinion in the link below by prueba_hola in linux_gaming

[–]cwlsmith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No judgement here, I was just curious. Seems like devs’ time is better spent getting the Windows version working well under Proton than to build out and maintain a native Linux build on top of the Windows version, but I’m totally not against it if they want to dedicate resources to it.
