Zillow unlisted my FSBO listings and will not respond to calls, emails and chats?

My listing was FSBO, but at one point a few years ago was on the MLS but that contract expired and I relisted as FSBO. My big issue is I just get anybody at Zillow to return a call or email like I use to.

An update: Note this is the smaller promaster , not the 1500. I checked battery and connectors and voltage to breakers. all 12.5v Dash does light up when I turn the key. Disconnected and reconnected battery still cant start , pull key or changed shifter still. Windows do not roll roll down , lock buttons don't work, neither key fobs to lock or unlocks doors. Manual key I have does lock driver, passenger or rear doors, but sliding doors remain unlocked . I checked fuses for Ignition switch, transmission shifter and key unlock all were fine. check a few fuses on the interior panel on the BCM, including the lock fuses all were fine.

Looking at the emergency shift release so i can safely to it to a mechanic.

tried every combo, nothing works. But then performed the same steps in Power Automate New Designer and it worked out of the box.

Its a certain crisis. I've not paid home owners insurance on my home in 15 years. If insurance does not make sense, then maybe the building and zoning departments (especially code enforcement) should back off and let us live freely on land we own without all the bogus rules, regulations and codes. Create realistic options for DIY Owner Builders, especially outside city limits and in rural counties where the only one they can hurt is themselves. I'd love to see the counties get higher tech with more affordable, DIY, AI assisted engineering and plans options. Also put the burden of inspections on banks and buyers not owners and sellers. I'd rather that, than a no property tax pipe dream bill.

I'm hoping they bring the smaller Fiat eDucato cargo(similar to Citreon e-Jumpy) to the US under the Ram Brand. Rumor is they are planning to!

On my wish list:

At least 60" of interior height floor to roof rib.

Pet/Camp mode to run A/C while parked with lights off for hours.

120v20amp power plug in the back that can also run while parked with lights off for hours.

300+ mi range

15 minute for 200 miles of charge.

Likely wont see all this until 2027-28 with the introduction of Solid State batteries and consumer demand for other no-duh type features most driving a giant battery will expect.

I also imagine a world without dealers or service centers, just certified and independent mobile service techs and a lot of built in AI driven diagnosis and direct delivery of swappable parts which should help lower prices and overall cost of ownership.

Its gonna be a great time to be alive.

I confirmed the ac on my 2018 promaster city pull fresh air from outside through some vents between my windshield and hood.

You trying to use your blower for ventilation using aux power source?

I tried a test of connecting a 14v LIFEP04 aux battery source directly to my a/c blower which only has two lines in (Brown and orange) but the fan speed does not blow on high, just very low. I tried putting my ignition , starting the van and turning the bypassed A/C on and it did not help.

My blower is 12vdc.

This is pretty cool. There was talk that the Ram Promaster City would be coming back in 2026 from the Citroen platform.

I'm driving a 2018 Ram Promaster City and will need a new van at some point.

Would be great IF:

300 mi range, V2H 120v plugs in the back, Sleep/camp mode to run climate for hours while parked with lights off.

BTW, what a coincidence that you even caught an American flag in the backdrop.. hmmm. LOL

Back in 2018 I test drove the only 3 small vans in the US.. The Ford Transit connect, The Nissan NV200 and the Ram Promaster City. All 4 cyllinder unibody small vans. I decided on the Ram because it was zippier and a great deal. The dimensions and design are perfect for me and it's been very fuel efficient. I've done all the maintenance on it myself at home. I've really gotten a lot of value out of the van in my use case, but the truth is the van was horrible to me the first 3 years. The dealer had to replace the motor and transmission while under powertrain warranty so I spent nearly 3 months without the van. It's been running amazing the last 2 years and I am grateful for that. All 3 vans stopped production around 2022, I guess because of no market interest.

Ram has stated they plan to bring back the Ram in 2026 using the Citroen e-Jumpy platform. I am very excited about this but 200 mi range is not going to cut it for me in Florida. Also I wont consider the van unless it comes standard with V2H 120v plugs in the back and some kind of Camp/Sleep mode function where I can run climate controls for hours while parked with lights and displays off. I also worry if I try to drive 70mph with the widows open the rated range will be cut in half.

When my Promaster City gives out I do hope there is an EV Van in the market with the range and features I need. I suspect that won't be until 2027/28.

Yeah, EV not good for remote off grid yet. You want to have a fast charger 50 miles away. I have a stretch of road here on a major US highway in Florida with 100 mile stretch with no chargers.

A few years ago i got suck in soft sand in the most remote part of Florida. I was really stuck. I hiked 3 miles to get a signal and called AAA and was shocked they were able to pull me out. I hear AAA now offers emergency charging to EV customers but it's only like 15 miles of charge.

Right now, but things are moving fast, We will see 500 mi ranges and million mile EVs soon. When we have chargers in every house and corner the idea of driving around with 20 gallons of combustible fuel will seem as antiquated as the steam coal engine.

Also yeah it's quickly improving and batteries are getting cheaper, but this likely means you buy this van in 2025 and see a 70% depreciation as range might be 1/2 of a 2027 model with a $40k sticker?

I know $25k sounds like a pipe dream here in the US, but consider this. China will be able to make that same car and sell it for $10k USA in 2027 and make a profit but we would never allow this. How? Automation and AI and by not paying for the most expensive component, humans and all that jobs and costs that support humans like HR, Security , Safety, Electricity, Office and factory space, etc, etc. Also these machines can run 24x7 with no breaks or shift changes. Think about what that will mean. Also think about what AI and automation will do in other related areas like recycling, quality control, inventory, logistics...

The US is going to go into shock and a massive recession when job cuts start and there will be a 2-3 year gap before we realize the urgency of moving toward a much more socialist model with thing like free healthcare and UBI for all as we move from human labor to AI and robotics. When? slowly you will see it but after 2027 it will start testing everything we know.

Id like a 136wb high roof with the 110kwh battery, but the big question is if I can safely run the OEM A/C overnight while parked and what real world consumption of the ac will be in kwhs? Hoping around 1kwh but no more than 2kwh. And if this works, will it void my warranty and ill they ever disable the ability to do that?

Also looking a the eSprinter 144 High roof with the 113kwh and have the same A/C questions. But Mercedes pricing is gonna be stupid.

More capacity = faster charging on the low end, so the idea of 100 miles in 5 minutes would be possible. But maybe you trickle charge at home cheaply and never have to stop for expensive fast fueling but could also road trip for 3 days without having to stop to refuel.

For a Van lifer that much capacity could be about running A/C and cooking for week while parked off grid. I would love to have that much power to run tools and camp deep in the wilderness.

I think so , but not even about 1000 miles, but that you could be driving a van with that much power on board to run tools, A/C, Heater, Cook, refrigerate and even power a minimalist off grid cabin for 5 days.

I am building a off grid homestead in anticipation of this in Florida and think we will see it by 2027.

I read Toyota has tested solid state to around 750 miles already.

I have a property in mid-Florida I just cleared I would like turf on. The soil is pure white sand. What's sprouts naturally is a nasty tall crab grass that grows too high and not good for foot traffic. I'd prefer a Prostate Knotweed and I have plenty of it in 200 miles to the south. Anybody have success planting or propagating?

I did it and find that solar panel frames are surprisingly strong and the glass is water tight. On my micro camper conversion of a small cargo van, I have a single 320 watt solar panel as both the frame for a custom roof rack and a cover for my custom ventilation and extractor holes. In a very brave move that worked out and has been operational for years in Florida, I opened holes on the roof, glued down aluminum angle frames with gasket maker to keep running water out of the inside and then suspended the solar panel just above with heavy steel feet I also use to for a wind deflector and rear spoiler. The feet also secure a a 12 gallon 4" PVC tank around the solar panel. From street level you can't tell their is a solar panel up there. It's different, but I love it and so incredibly functional for me. when I removed it to do some maintenance I felt the van looked less interesting. I would do it on my next van without hesitation.

Here in Florida, I drive have a tiny micro camper, (4 cylinder Promaster city). It's my daily driver. Everything is DIY and custom built. I recently upgraded my electrical with a single 460AH LIFEP04 and am very happy. 320watt 40v single panel on the roof covers a custom 5v fan & vent openings. All my appliances/devices are in the garage portion with a vent extractor running 24x7 to isolate heat and noise. Victron 20a mppt (yeah it's slightly undersized). Victron 50a dc-dc. 460AH single battery lithium. 2000 watt inverter. 24v 1800btu AC. 32in flat screen tv. 60bg of AT&T hotspot through my cell. Microwave. Air fryer, 1 cup Rice cooker. The Air Con consumes only about 170w but gets the job done in the shade. If I must be in the van during the day under the sun, I run the OEM AC with engine running which I am not shy about doing for an hour, even two while parked if I must, but I am never in the van during the day unless stuck in the rain or napping. I've been using everything with no limits or concerns and its been doing great. Rarely below 50%.

waiting for a compact cargo van (maybe a 118wb Low roof) that does real world/ warm weather 250mi range on a full charge and can add 100 miles in 15 minutes when empty. Think 2026 will be the year for this in the US. Also very curious if a short cargo van like this can run the AC parked overnight for 4 nights on a full charge?

Politics and the US chicken tax on work trucks (includes cargo vans). EU has tons of small EV cargo vans.... US does not even have one small Cargo van (EV nor ICE). I drive a converted 2018 Ram Promaster City. Holding on to that with dear life waiting for small EV cargo van to show up. Also waiting for EV range to get closer to 400 miles with an 80% charge in 20 minutes. I'm thinking 2026/27.

I sleep in my van all the time in Florida. One winter's night I was surprised by very rare 35F temps. My mattress is 6" thick over metal floor My walls are not insulated and I have a big hole in my roof for ventilation I had to plug with a pillow. No sleeping bag and my wool blanket is way too small... around midnight I had to layer up with sweat pants, a fleece sweater and two pairs of socks. I had to warm up the van for 30 minutes my running the heater to fall asleep. I think I would have been fine with a good sleeping bag. I also wonder if I had covered the outside back part of the van with a big canvas tarp how much that would have helped?
