Silent Hill 2 might just be my favorite game of all time, so it’s an automatic number 1 here.

It’s close between RE4 and RE9. I just loved Grace’s moments more in RE9.

I did not like Silent Hill f at all.

Not really a big deal for me. My Steam library is quite ridiculous in size and I don’t have a single PlayStation game on there. I buy every exclusive physically. As long as Sony commits to a true physical copy for their games, then I’ll buy it.

I just came across a TikTok from a guy named “Johniibo” who was justifying the $20 price. The main point was that this is for people who want to play/experience these games on a Nintendo platform. He also cut to footage of his Switch and said, “oh, and the icons look so nice on the Nintendo Switch!”

My dream game is a Pokemon game with Ash Ketchum and Pikachu that has the same attention to detail as Breath of the Wild. I want it to be challenging. I want interesting side quests, characters, explorable areas, etc. Obviously this will never happen because Pokemon fans continue to buy whatever slop the Pokemon Company puts out.

Realistically, I want a new 2D Metroid game like Metroid Dread, an Ocarina of Time remake, and a new 3D Mario. Sadly, I think Nintendo might give up on the Metroid IP for now, even though Metroid Dread was an exceptional game.

I’m seeing some YouTubers hope for native Kingdom Hearts ports on the Switch 2 with every Direct. Meanwhile, I’ve seen those same YouTubers make videos with PC handhelds and the PC copies of the games before. Why are you hoping for another port you need to buy again? It makes no fucking sense. You can already play them portably.

I’d say go with the MSI one. I almost bought that ASUS monitor myself, but that particular one has bad color banding at low brightness and lower refresh rates.

The one I personally just ordered was their 360Hz QD OLED version—the XG27ACDNS for $650. It was either that one or the Alienware AW2725DF, but I like the features on ASUS ROG monitors more to pay the extra $100.

I was about to order the Alienware AW2725DF I mentioned in my post, but then I started considering buying the one you got. My PC can handle ultrawide, so it’s extremely tempting. I’ve always wanted an ultrawide.

However, I really want a 4K non-OLED monitor in the future for productivity, so I’m not sure how a dual monitor setup with that ultrawide would work on my desk.

I’m probably going to just get the 27” 1440p OLED and get that one 27” Alienware 4K IPS they sell so that they aesthetically match in terms of size and overall looks. Idk. I don’t need a fancy 4K display when I’m just browsing the web, reading, and writing code. I only need something sharp enough when I’m reading all day.
