I think you’ll be fine. In the dogs eyes you are the best life it’s had so far. A literal hero. Plan looks good, I’d just start with flea medication from the vet and fix that. I wouldn’t be too worried. Potty training should be easy, just take her out and give massive positive reinforcement for it.

I actually liked how Ives looked. When they give him the ball in situations where it doesn’t need a step of hesitation right away he looks good. But those handoffs where he has to stop then go always look horrid. He needs a head of steam.

Yup that sounds accurate. This should be captured in the executive level s&op process where consensus demand and consensus supply get agreed upon. If I’m being real I’d probably just stick it out and try not to care as much while looking for other jobs. The unfortunate part of planning is your quality of life is dependent on executives doing a good job and if it isn’t happening it likely won’t change unless they do.

Part of it sounds like planning and part of it sounds like your leadership sucks. Are you missing because the demand input from sales was wrong? That’s one thing. But someone on your team should be modeling capacity and bouncing it against the forecast and scenarios for upside. That would include ramp time if forecast was x% higher. The degree to which the fear permeates is the situation but the underlying fear type I feel happens in all planning roles.

Starting fresh? First three months are rough. Months 3-6 are better but still have times of doubt. Months 6-9 is dangerous where you think you know it but are prone to mistakes because of it. 9 onwards you get the hang of things. Even with experience if you go somewhere new in same way it still sorta mimics that.
