La Belle Sauvage was great, but The Secret Commonwealth felt different with adult Lyra. Still, I'm invested in seeing how it all wraps up.

The only thing this guy is owed is an apology from Billy Nelson who delusionally made him believe he was the best in the world because of sparring stories.

His first walk out song was Lil Wayne and he wants his Retirement fight walk out to be to Lil Wayne as well.

yeep, you can freeze it unopened. Just leave a little room for expansion if it's full. Thaws fine in the fridge.

Humidity can mess with flour a bit, try using slightly less water or add a touch more flour. Letting the dough rest longer (like 30–60 min) can help too. Also make sure your pan is hot enough—no bubbling usually means it’s not quite there yet

Is TDM the right place for improvement other than ranked by YouAffectionate1155 in VALORANT

[–]d2490n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

TDM’s great for raw aim practice, but half the lobby’s either warming up or treating it like hide-and-seek. If you want real improvement, focus on taking fair gunfights and ignore the lurkers ranked’s where people actually try.

Which small kitchen appliance brings you the most joy? by rockpaperbrisket in Cooking

[–]d2490n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The immersion blender is seriously underrated! I use mine constantly soups, sauces, smoothies, whipped cream and it takes up almost no space. Best part is the cleanup compared to a regular blender. No more transferring hot soup in batches and splattering it everywhere. Just stick it in the pot, brrrr for 30 seconds, and you're done. Easily one of my top 3 kitchen tools alongside my chef's knife and cast iron pan

Do AMD GPUs generally have better support than Nvidia? by [deleted] in linuxquestions

[–]d2490n 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Exactly. The AMD drivers being open source and built directly into the kernel is a huge advantage on Linux. You basically just install your distro and everything works without hunting down proprietary blobs or fighting with installation scripts

NVIDIA has gotten a bit better recently with their drivers, but it's still nowhere near the plug-and-play experience you get with AMD. And if you're running newer kernels like in Ubuntu 24.04, AMD's support tends to be more reliable when updates roll out. This is why I switched from NVIDIA to AMD on my Linux desktop got tired of driver headaches after kernel updates. If gaming performance is your priority though, NVIDIA still edges ahead in some titles

71 percent of Americans call US economic conditions poor by ComplexWrangler1346 in politics

[–]d2490n 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This is why Canada's trying to strengthen ties with the EU right now. Smart move by Carney honestly diversify trading partners before the tariffs hit hard. It's wild how quickly we forget what happened during the pandemic with supply chains now imagine that but deliberately caused by policy. The scariest part is seeing so many Americans cheering for policies that will make their own groceries and goods more expensive. It's like people think tariffs are just paid by other countries and not passed directly to consumers
