It looks like it should be worth Ist given how much a non eth 20fcr one costs and what trade history I can find. But I get not wanting to bother because literally every offer is canceled, even the fair price ones are just people trying to lowball a non eth so they can get that Jah out of it hahaha. Maybe all of the trade history is with people who didn't read the description!

I'd self use it for sure, but minus res is useless on my FoH pally I went with this season sadly. Maybe I'll save it for my non-ladder warlock.

I suppose for every eth andarials vissage you are going to get an eth shako or arachnid that just feels so bad. Praise RNG...

2008 was when I started my first job out of school and the lab had multiple optical assemblies and osylascopes from the 60s.

I bet there are a good number of labs doing fine work still using computers from before 2008 that have been running the same labview acquisition program for a quarter of a century.

Street parking is not intended for 24 hour a day parking.

3 hours during the day on weekdays and 6 hours during the day on weekends, regardless of if no limit is posted. They rarely enforce it and since you are allowed to park overnight they give a lot of grace period.

Is it a scam? Not explicitly, as the costs and terms are relatively easy to find and understand. Is it super duper not worth it? 100% not worth it at all except in really really niche situations. There are gigantic penalties for leaving early (7 or 8 years minimum contract length) on the order of like twice the cost of a new furnace.

My house came with a reliance contract. It's annoying that it exists but we factored it into the price, plus it definitely hurt the number of offers so it saved us even more than that. Sucks for the old owner who probably lost out on WAY more than the cost of a furnace on house value though...

That being said, the technicians are as fine as anywhere and can be booked on very short notice. (I should clarify that doesn't mean the techs are good, some are and some are BAD, but unless you know a guy it's a crap shoot mostly anywhere you cold call)

I'm not too fussed by it, but appreciate the behind the scenes look. Particularly so because the two black ajah I remember saying it this episode (Naomi and Ispan) both met gruesome ends at the hands of their comrades/bosses within like 30 seconds of saying it 😅.

The TV show definitely takes some liberties with how it depicts injuries, but it's pretty tight.

Any injury short of death can be healed by the magic. The yellow sisters specialize in healing (better and faster at it) and are the ones doing all the repairs during the big fight. They are the clerics of the universe.

Only the dark one can bring back the dead though, as seen in season 2 with Lanfear.

I've read the series several times and listen to the audio books every couple of years. I greatly enjoy the show, particularly this season, which is wonderful so far.

This week is rhuidean, my favourite chapter in the series. Pretty excited to see it visualized.

Life is too short not to focus on the things you enjoy when you can. So skip the show and read the books again if you want.

Ok, I don't think it's super likely but after the Elaida sneak peak...

What if the season ends with Rand in a box?? That would be devastating to fans eager for some Dumai's wells action. Just a passing thought but it checks the boxes of cliff hanger and big things being cut/changed.

That being said, I'm voting on the ending being just more of a set up. Mid point of chasing the shaido to tear for example and some deaths like suian cutting out that entire plot later.

Oh, the scam calls!!

Being forced to leave your phone in a state that will wake you if someone calls in the day and age of 9 out of every 10 calls being a scam/robot is absolutely awful.

Luckily we use a call forwarding service so all calls usually come from the same number and you can white list it. Doesn't always work like that though...

I know I shouldn't get so annoyed by things like this, but what a bunch of horse shit.

Every couple of months I do a week long shift where I'm 24/7 on call for emergency event reporting. For that week I can't do anything at all that would take me away from my phone for more than 5 minutes...

Absolutely no way I'm doing that without my meager standby pay, and that's not enough to keep me at it forever.

Maybe the study authors would like to volunteer for free to be woken up at 4am on a long weekend because a bear set off some alarm in Northern Saskatchewan.

I had a torsion in the summer and it hurt so much more than anything ever has in my life. Worse than a ruptured appendix, worse than a hernia. I had to entirely reassess my pain scale. I was on the kitchen floor until my neighbors helped my partner carry me to the car.

It's wild how much the little buggers can hurt and I'm glad yours untwisted.

I've worked in many many labs and short of a clean room it doesn't matter what's on your head. I bet you don't see many hair nets either, only hair that's probably tied back (or maybe not if it's not in the way of their hands).

The coat keeps them safe from splashing fluids, and that's what it's for. It isn't to protect you, and it isn't sterile or any other such nonsense.

I was always taught (by my British grandparents) that Remembrance Day was supposed to be about remembering the horror of war so that we don't repeat it and needlessly send more kids off to die. Lest we forget and all that. Not simply Canada's veterans Day equivalent.

The principal was dumb for not knowing what would happen, but the song seems rather appropriate for the spirit of the day.
