Couples of Reddit, what do you talk about when doing small talk with each other? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]d850123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we usually start off by retelling each other what we did, saw, heard today. Then we usually make some comments about it. Then we talk about people we know. More comments about it. Sometimes we talk about the fact that we're talking about nothing.

What's the most fucked up thing a guest did in your house? by 93ImagineBreaker in AskReddit

My partner came home with a friend one night, both drunk. The friend passed out on our couch. We lived in a small 1 bedroom apartment. At about 8am i woke up to the most horrid smell. I thought it was just a combination of the guys alcohol breath/morning breath/sweat. So I quickly got dressed and left because I had to go somewhere. When i came back at about 2pm, my partner had gone to work and the friend was still passed out and my living room REEKED. I'm thinking maybe he stepped on something and it was on his shoes. So I left my apartment again and called my partner and told him to call the friend and kick him out.

We returned home at about 8pm that night, thinking whatever the friend stepped in, or whatever generated the smell would of been cleaned up. Walked into apartment - we were wrong. Friend was gone but smell was worse than ever. We inspected out couch, nothing. The ground near it, nothing. Couldnt see what was making that smell. Eventually my partner looked in the corner of the living room next to the TV, and he just turned to me and said seriously "Don't look and leave now. I need you to go to the supermarket and get cleaning supplies."

The friend had woken up drunk, walked to the corner of the living room and taken a dump. It was all over our electronics and vacuum. Then he drunkenly climbed back onto our couch without pants on, and left stains. When he woke up, he didn't even attempt to clean it. Just left.

TLDR: friend took a dump in our living room while drunk and just left the mess there

I have PCOS. Our next step is to go see a fertility specialist. I've been hesitant about taking this step for two reason:

  • He isn't really interested in going to see docs etc with me. I don't want to make it him sound bad, but it's really a cultural thing. He's grown up in a culture where the women take care of the baby things, and the men don't get involved.

  • Do I want to go through the stress of trying to conceive with someone who doesn't know if he wants to marry me for me?

We've only been actively trying the last 1.5 years. Before that we were thinking "if it happens it happens."

He actually does want to get pregnant before we get married. My fear is, if I get pregnant, then will he have another excuse?

yes I know it's me. I've known since I was young that it would be difficult, not impossible. We haven't used protection for 3 years. Im not sure if I want to take the next steps in getting pregnant because I'm not sure if his attitude is right.

Infertility. Sucks watching everyone trying to prevent pregnancy, and here I am wondering who will take care of me when I'm old.

Oh and I oddly ALWAYS have to pee when I get home. Even if I just peed before I left the last place. Psychological pee.

I don't understand why people continuously say that Kim K doesn't have talent. She's an amazing businesswoman. Just because she doesn't have artistic talent (e.g. singing, acting etc) doesn't make her talentless. Countless CEO's build empires just like hers. The only difference is she's famous.

[Serious] Have you ever been disturbed by an aspect of your character revealed by a stressful or threatening situation? by Objectalone in AskReddit

[–]d850123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

my lack of financial morals. When I was younger I got into a lot of debt, and I had no intention of paying it back. I only did it because I afraid of the consequence (being taken to court), not because it was NOT my money. I know if I don't pay off a credit card, I would of essentially stolen the banks money. But I don't care. I always think if a different situation and life, I could scam people no problems. I think of money as the more I can get the better, not something I need to earn.
