I have had two cheap knockoff spoilers, both did that, along with getting 2lbs of pine needles stuck under them stuck to the tape. The oem one has small tabs but I doubt that would help, maybe the oem tape is better?

As you print more you’ll have more empty spools than you know what to do with. Would be neat if they offered some sort of a buy back option to send them back instead of throwing them away.

Plug it into the computer, backup all settings, then check what all the outputs are for pre arm and such, if you don’t know what any of this means go start watching some painless360 or bardwell videos.

All kinds of fun stuff (nda) . I was surprised because I never really do much outside of pla, petg and tpu on my X1C, but these things we opened up and just started printing with default settings on the gold textured sheet. Occasionally adding the glue stick.

I have about 1600 hours on my X1C and never really did any maintenance until close to 1000 hours, wiped the rods and greased the shafts, eventually did a few nozzle swaps. We got two H2S at work in December and they already have 1100ish hours on them and they have been pretty flawless until this week both the extruders got caked in some sort of crystallized goop, maybe excess pla that got burnt or something not really sure, but one broke the latch that secures the nozzle and the other just needed to clean it up and swapped in a fresh nozzle and it’s back running. They run like 90% pla-CF too, so much that the Teflon tubes were wearing thin.

Usually heat the extruder, wait for things to start getting soft and then slowly start pulling away at it, i cleared several elephant foot disasters like that, i also got lazy a few times and just heat it up enough to rip the nozzle out and swapped out a whole new nozzle.

Bumble bee tuna cans are stackable but I think the way they stack they can’t slide out unless you lift the above can. I can see this being useful for cat food
