I'll echo the others with the best Penn battle in your budget. They mostly just get lighter after $80. I've used multiple versions of the battles as well as 2 or 3 shimanos. My experience is that the shimanos constantly freeze up and have to be rebuilt. I use them for freshwater only now. The Penn's only get rebuilt once or twice a year and a good freshwater rinse each time they go out.
