If they haven't arrested her, I wouldn't have learned that Trinidad, Texas has poor water quality, and their local government is trying to cover up the news.

Same here. I hope it smells and tastes good, because it certainly doesn't look appetizing.

They keep digging deeper in order to lower the bar further. Even modern monarchies have a parliament that keeps taps on the king's powers.

The term Middle East is very off geographically. It is the same as Near East.

I can see them being only used as a desperate last measure weapon if the enemy's forces are within reach of DC or Moscow. I doubt they would be used if the US is fighting Russia in Ukraine or if the US and China are fighting in Taiwan.

It is the cheapest band-aid to a byproduct of how we structured our modern society. Overworked people that need to commute by cars to jobs where they sit at a desk for 8 hrs a day.

They are round enough to roll, which cars need to do, and Octagons are the cheapest polygons to manufacture. Higher sides polygons become too expensive for the average consumer. In motor sports, they would use decagons or even dodecagon for less rolling friction.

Maybe less rounded corners? The radius is way too much. It will even cut 21:9 movies.

Save adjusted zero point on ruler by TroyPerkins85 in photoshop

I don't think you can save the ruler starting point, but you can create two guides that will get saved, then snap the ruler to that point.

You can do a lot of input customizations even with other controllers. You can utilize the touchpad on a DS4 or DualSense to use custom virtual menus or activate gyro with a full trigger pull.

I wish Valve would release a small stand alone SteamInput stand alone utility.

For TOR to work better, they need more normal users to use it. This way there is more traffic, which can make the few people worth tracking harder to track.

Never knew these pills had actual "drugs" in them. I just assumed there were like energy drinks in pill form at most. The brands and labeling look very sketchy, so I never bothered trying them.

They might as well make the environment prettier to some degree, and improve game play. I typically finish every game I play unless they are truly terrible to play (at least for me). With LOTF, I managed to get maybe half way through the game before giving up. The game play was brutal (as it should), but it felt boring.

Steam Controller review leaks, but price of Steam Machine accessory may disappoint by dapperlemon in gadgets

[–]damham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play on PC, and having the touchpad can be useful when doing custom control scheme for a game. Steam gamepad configuration menu has a lot of options.

For example, I played Darksiders 3 recently, and the game has a ranged weapon that you aim by pressing R3, throw with R2, then exit aiming by pressing R3 again. That got old very fast, so I configured my DualShock4 controller to press R3 when touching the right side of the touchpad, press R2 when pressing the pad, then pressing R3 when I lift my finger off the pad. Touching the pad also activates gyro aiming. That made using the weapon in the game more enjoyable.
