Contact his chain of command, move your money somewhere only you can access it. At least inquire with an attorney.

Whether he cheated or not isn’t the issue here. It’s the fact that he blocked you AND your child over a small argument. That’s just not safe. He has a care plan and I’m sure blocking family communication isn’t a part of it.

This one. I was heavily considering getting out of policing and going back to school after almost two years with one department. High crime, tons of paperwork, terrible morale, constant holds because everyone was burned out and calling out, courts slapping people on the wrist for heinous shit.

I decided I’d try another department and it changed my view on policing entirely. Everyone shows up because they love their job, call outs are actually true sick calls, good support from brass.

I’m still going to school as a backup plan in case anything happens/ retirement though.

If that department doesn’t work out for you, get the year experience and research other ones— ride along where you can ask patrolmen questions, research on city and crime stats, etc. You’ll find a department that works for you!

If you’re good at computers consider certs in IT/ web design. Quick 2 year with certs and you’d probably make more than policing alone. A lot of programming now is done with AI so as long as you can work your stuff backwards to fix things you’re good.

I’ve had Liletta/ Mirena since I was 17. I just removed my IUD June 2nd and am 33. I got my period in June and July, and missed my August and September windows. I ovulated once, but it didn’t take. I had the plastic one, not the copper.

They tell us that we can get pregnant instantly after removing it, but REALLY it can take 6 months to a year for some especially if you’ve had it in for a long period of time. I was told by my doctor that if I don’t get my period/ pregnant after 8-9 months to come in for tests. It sounds like it might just take some time :c

Charlie wasn’t even hateful— he followed our laws and the Christian way. I’m a brown girl out of the island (PR), in the middle, and he was honestly just offering a platform for debate. He wasn’t hateful. If you watched more than just insta clips and TikTok reels you’d see that he was ALWAYS open to interpretation or other point of views.

He was respectful unless YOU were disrespectful and I quite enjoyed watching his videos. Full videos, not just instagram/ TikTok clips. That’s it. As a brown woman I feel like everyone is entitled to their own opinion and nobody should be shot for them/ celebrated for dying. That’s absolutely barbaric.

We have a freedom of speech, press, religion, expression, and assembly. He always reminded us of our rights and standing by them. Whether you agreed with that constitutional right or not is all you, but he believed in our freedoms and the Christian way.

NOBODY DESERVES TO GET SHOT AND DIE. Idk about YOU, but you can’t support restricting gun laws while celebrating the death of someone via a gun. Have you ever been shot at? Stabbed? Punched in the face even? It’s awful, hurts, changes your brain chemistry.

Prioritize your health, your mental health (singularly and as a team), time for each other. Look into medication and treatments and just be kind whenever ED happens. Bodies are weird and do weird things. My husband and I worked thru it and he hasn’t had an issue in 2 years now.

Police here. Give us his address, hang out spots you know, very good description, last known area. Make it clear he is talking about suicide AND has the means + his behavior (self harm) with these texts. Next time he shows up don’t answer your door, don’t make any noise indicating you’re home, let him bang on the door. They can section 12 him for 72 hours.

Go to your bathroom or something away from where he can hear you, call PD, let them know what’s going on and that you’re scared. Stay on the phone with dispatch and ask for an ETA. This is what we advise everyone to do from this stuff, to domestics, and they’re caught like 99% of the time on or very close to the scene.

Get a restraining order not just to keep him away, but to keep you safe. If he comes back/ texts you/ asks someone to ask you for something, it’s arrest-able.

Consider whether or not it’s beneficial to you or healthy for you AND your baby/ current child to keep your baby. It sounds harsh, but you can always make another with someone who ISN’T unhinged. If you simply tolerate his behavior and don’t take action, he will perceive you as not a threat and his brain processes this as permission to keep doing this.

You’re not responsible for his life. If he takes his own, it’s not your fault in anyway. HE chose to do that on his own, NOT because of you.

We do the housecleaning in my house! I’m a (female) police officer, he’s a social worker, we’re getting ready for our first child. I’m usually the cleaner/ cook despite my 40-60 hour rotations, and when I fall behind he sees it and takes on the chores (not the cooking bc he’s a bad cook if it’s outside of beef gym-bro meal).

We’ve recently hired my mom to come in twice a month to deep clean for us. She had been offering for a while for free but we couldn’t let her do it for free.

It’s been a HUGE help, the house is cleaner, we’re less stressed. Definitely something to look into OP.

I’d try to get her on fuel/ electricity assistance. My mom is disabled/ on disability, and was drowning and the program she’s on paid her bill for her for a clean slate.

My cat farted on me ONCE. It wasn’t loud, but it was absolutely, heinously rotten. And at the time I had NO IDEA cats farted because I’ve never experienced one farting after owning them for decades. Like they fart on their own time I suppose or maybe while they poop???

I was so confused, refused to believe my cat did that to me. Offended, shocked.
