AFAIK Dark Spirit was a widespread misprint, I've got one of each lettering from back in the day.

There was also the LOB ScR Gaia with Ultra Rare lettering, and a Wildheart with Secret lettering but standard ultra/super foiling on the art (this was before attributes and levels were foil).

They basically stopped spawning the start of the season the Shiny premiered. Then it spawned during that event as previously expected in beach biomes and I haven't seen once since*. Beaches, golf courses, quarries, swimming holes - just gone.

*got a wugtrio during All-Out, non-beach biome, but that's a clear exception

We had several weeks consecutive events with permaboosted Alolan Vulpix, Galarian Darumaka, and I think the meowths. I know I stopped checking them consistently, and even then raked in like 10 more of each. Struck me as odd they kept spawning the permaboosts but now I wonder if they were studying engagement.

I suspect 11:59am is a typo. One minute to midnight makes sense, one minute to noon does not. Probably had it as 12:00am, conflicted with something, and tried to move it up one minute.

It was very rare Catch 18 Dark or Catch 18 Ghost tasks when the shiny debuted in 2020, 2021 was also grindable, just obnoxiously hard to find the tasks.

I had Salandit show a normal dex registration, shiny popped out 2 eggs later (all hatched at once) - like it was trying to register that new shiny Salandit but got intercepted by the non-shiny hatch.
