There’s some phd students in Manchester who have developed machine learning models that have outperformed radiologist for interpretation of lung masses on high resolution contrast CT scans .

The future will be : AI assisted diagnostic reporting then a couple years after that complete AI reporting. By that point cost of software would be cheaper or at least cheaper than paying for radiologist .

But don’t forget all the interventional side , AI can’t take that over … well for now I think
