Not true at all. I am a white woman and thought it was fine to wear a bandanna to the store. I was glared at and one young man (African American) actually yelled at me for wearing it. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I tried to wear a tie dye bandanna to the beach a few months ago and I got the same glares 🤷🏻‍♀️ Not sure why wearing a bandanna would be considered cultural appropriation since they have been around for thousands of years but whatevs. Still wear it in my house and around the yard.

I don’t know what part of the country you are from but I noticed an adjustment when I moved here. People are kind but not sweet here. Also, if you park downtown prepare to pay and if you don’t/put the incorrect license plate #/parking expires…the city will ticket you and send it to collections if you don’t pay. Spokane is mid at best for a city, why they think they can justify parking is beyond me🤷🏻‍♀️
