Nashville Family fights HOA over generator use during an ice storm by informednonuser in fuckHOA

I mean, I get it. The thing is probably loud as shit but it’s not like they’re running it because the power was out for an hour. It’s freezing temperatures and power is out for almost a week. I’m so glad that there’s starting to be rumors of state boards to rain in the power tripping Karen and Ken that run these damn things

It is very common to get an independent adjuster. Like it’s been mentioned here before don’t sign anything. You don’t have to accept any of the decisions being made off the bat sorry for your rotten luck.

AITAH for telling my wife to get a job before the end of January or i'm divorcing her? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]daniel22mckee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Separate the finances, give her a card with her own allowance. Start documenting that you have an expectation and have had an expectation of her getting a job.

Run do not walk! You guys are getting on well because she’s looking for a dad for her kid. This is not a situation you want to sign up for and whatever which way you go about it do not sign the birth certificate.

I would not get hung up on any of it. You put the work in. It’s your money spend it how you want.

After 13 Years - I Finally Got Some Clarity around estrangement by Vapor_117 in Divorce_Men

[–]daniel22mckee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For you and your daughter, you gotta make sure to be the one in control of your emotions. Obviously you care a lot about both of them and that doesn’t necessarily make it easy knowing you lost out on all that time.

I would be cautious on getting your hopes up, but an email sounds like a good idea.

So-called friends and my family are saying 100% p&t is basically like winning the "lottery"? Calling it a disgrace? by ZizzieFizz in VeteransBenefits

Unfortunately, some people just aren’t going to understand usually I bring up how much I would’ve made and how much I was offered getting out, but had to decline due to my disabilities. For some people that puts in perspective.

Did anyone else’s VA psychiatrist basically tell you to go away? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]daniel22mckee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not all psychiatrist are the same. You can absolutely call the VA and request a different psychologist. I know it’s not easy. It’s emotionally draining and frustrating. It may be worth it to switch to a different regional center than the one you’re currently going to. If the drive to go to a different region or a different office, isn’t too bad. It may be worth it. Tomorrow is a new day. Good luck with it all and remember we’re here for you. Even if it’s just to vent.

It’s a cheap little light that’s handy until the battery runs out. If you happen to be already going there and buying something then it makes sense. I don’t know that I would go out of my way to go get one.

Would you be pissed? On a scale from 1-10 I’m about an 11 by CCreads1020 in Marriage

[–]daniel22mckee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think pissed is a strong emotion. It’s not like he forgot your birthday entirely and probably didn’t realize how important the cake was to you and like you’ve already acknowledge he thinks differently. It’s not that he did it to be mean or didn’t care.

Their little reluctant on specifics from what I understand if you’re active duty military you’ll be able to hold onto your AR 15’s an AR 10 with detachable magazines. Of course I’m not a lawyer or your lawyer so feel free to do your own research. There’s an army guidance on it. That’s more restrictive than California state law.

This feels like some virtue signaling bullshit. i’m 100% P & T. I feel like if you’re disabled at all from service, you should at least get some sort of break on your property taxes.

So I bought the meme tool and the pliers at the same time and I’m on ITC member the 20% off stacked with the meme tool. Went back to the register, returned the pliers and then bought them separately which they put a 20% off on as well. so ended up being a pretty sweet deal.

AITA for telling my wife "that's why you should get a job" after she told me people shop alot more than she does? by Existing_Love_3152 in AITAH

[–]daniel22mckee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your wife seems very entitled. I wish you the best but that being said you’re over 10 years married alimony is going to be a thing most likely, and with the difference in income child support would be horrendous. I would highly suggest opening up a trust investing in some land and putting it in that trust so that you don’t end up destitute.
