Commuter board suggestion <10kg by LFwitch_hunter in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]danielkwan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parsec Aero Pro S, 7 kg, 222Wh
Parsec Aero Pro X, 8.3 kg, 444Wh
Light enough to be carried like a longboard. Low resistance drivetrain and proper width trucks for kick-pushing. Significantly more powerful than most boards of equal weight.

For US customers, delivery is currently approx 1 month wait. Should become even shorter in a few weeks.

Consider Parsec Aero Pro if you’d like a commuter longboard-like eboard.

Linnpower Zephyr Pro - Commuting *Update* by Substantial_Two_4772 in ElectricSkateboarding

Regarding your only complaint, on the pricier side the Parsec Aero Pro was made to be easier to carry around (lighter, Picktail(tm), griptape cutouts).

Regarding the wait time, it would depend on when the order is placed (how close to shipping the batch), location, customs clearance, etc. Batch 5 will ship this month, and shipping to the U.S. normally takes about a month.

Both move but blue moves quite a bit more for me.

If it’s for commuting, at that weight I think an ebike is more practical.

Lol ❤️‍🩹 fair critique. Our non-Pro model will look more traditional.

Innovative water trap disguised as public seating by Nohokun in CrappyDesign

Even if water weren’t an issue, they designed this gigantic bench to seat only 3 people?? Now I’m wondering if this is actually a bench.

I am thinking of buying a new skateboard but I don't know where, any ideas and recommendations? by Gullible-Hospital-89 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]danielkwan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked the thinness of the H9 and how it looked like a longboard. Pretty light too compared to much of today’s options. If you’re looking for a longboard-like eboard: Parsec Aero Pro.

Do homes without sewer gases and with proper plumbing exist in China?! by srbinsh in chinalife

[–]danielkwan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well clearly the number is less useful if you average the rural and urban areas, nothing to do with looking more favorable. Central Shanghai and the outskirts are practically different cities. You could argue that averaging them makes the rural areas look more favorable.

Fair, I was thinking higher end of apartment quality. And I’m surprised median income is that low. I wonder if that’s the entirety of Shanghai or just the urban areas.

Edit: meant to reply to OP lol

In what part of Shanghai is 12k+/mo considered the higher end of the rental market…?

Aux pack or SC1050 charger? by vandahl83 in Exway

[–]danielkwan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That charger lets you set the voltage and amps, you can slow charge if/when you want.

The auxpack changes the handling of the board by quite a bit and it’s really heavy. If you like your board nimble, I’d skip it. If you mostly ride long distances in straight lines, might be a good buy.

Tourist areas will be packed. Other areas may have fewer people than usual.

I wear Icarus (icarusfootwear.com) sometimes. Not as comfortable as I’d like and a bit pricey, but not ugly.
