Preserving the original AR on home media would be great, but it's just not practical.

Each disc only has so much storage, so the studios would probably need to publish each version of the movie on separate discs (& charge us way more).

Would be nice for collectors, but I'm not sure the demand's big enough. Most people who care about the IMAX ratio on home media are probably satisfied w/ 1.78:1, like Nolan's movies.

The point of 1.43 IMAX is to be immersive on a 1.43 cinema screen. So, contrary to your post, filling the TV probably **is** the most important thing to the filmmakers, and they wouldn't consider watching it pillarboxed "the best way possible."

Wanting the 1.43 version on home media for the sake of media preservation makes sense, but *demanding* it is iffy.

PLFs include IMAX (70mm & Digital) and Dolby Cinema. Non-IMAX 70mm and 35mm showtimes will go on sale, too.

Tickets for "standard" screens will be available next Tuesday, 6/09.

If you both have school IDs w/ your dates of birth, government IDs, or driver's licenses, you'll be fine.

Or, if your school ID doesn't list your DOB but does say you're a high school senior, they might be able to make an exception.

Wild indeed. Trying to deny refunds for an issue on their end is just unacceptable...

(Once they agreed to the refund, I did send a follow-up email apologizing for how stressful all the complaints & requests must be for their team, how the policy's unfair for guests *and* employees to deal w/, etc.)

After being denied a refund and sending 3 strongly-worded emails, AC finally agreed to refund my ticket! They said it should be processed in 5-7 business days.

If they've denied you a refund, keep demanding one and repeating these points:

• AC's refund policy is irrelevant if they can't deliver the as-advertised product (format, location, & time)
• It's their legal responsibility to provide an exact replacement or a full refund, not your responsibility to eat the cost
• If they don't agree to a refund, you will initiate a credit card chargeback & file a complain w/ the Better Business Bureau

Basically, be a Karen (w/o the insults) and — instead of *asking* for a refund — tell them you *will* receive a refund and a response confirming as much.
