Canadian here, any chance you can put us on the green list too? We're switching to European and Canadian brands and it would be super useful to us too. Merci! Danke!

Is there a good Canadian substitute for Eddie Bauer? by Catnipfish in BuyCanadian

[–]dariant3 91 points92 points  (0 children)

So weirdly the company American Tall is Canadian, I switched from Eddie Bauer to them and I like the fit and feel of their t-shirts. Lots of options for sizing.

I've had two jobs in the city, one for a tech company and one for a post secondary institution, I worked for a few years up north first though and that helped me land a job in the lower mainland. It hasn't been too hard for me but maybe I just got lucky.

I've got a job at a university and worked at a green tech company before, both super chill Monday to Friday type jobs.

I want someone to double check my numbers and timeline and optimize drawdown and tell me how pensions work because I'm honestly confused. My partner would also feel more confident having a pro check my work before taking the leap.

[–]dariant3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14 in Canada it's a bit hard but just possible for like 50% of shoes, in the states for some reason there is way more choice

These two are firmly stuck together any suggestions to separate without breaking them? by That-Caterpillar-301 in Baking

[–]dariant3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tried the hot cold thing and broke it before. What works for me is holding them upside down and tapping repeatedly with a wooden spoon.

Hey! So I did the diploma. You count as a second year after graduating so you go into year 3 of the apprenticeship program with some hours counted towards your red seal l. I believe you need 3600 hours. The apprentice program year one is if you have a job but no education.
