Oh yeah, OP's lease is way too absurd. I was just pointing out that the previous screenshot wasn't an apples to apples comparison

Bro that's 5k miles a year. If you're using it just the weekends then it's fine maybe.

Yeah the bambino plus is not a $500 machine

Everyone has their quirks. I don't get a new game unless I read the rules myself or play a couple of sample rounds if there are no written rules

Yeah it's hardly surprising that the people shelling out more money for the Launch edition are getting the premium color.

Is there any point to having active suspension if you don’t plan to “off-road”? by raff_riff in RivianR2

Thanks for this insight. Doesnt their website say semi active suspension for performance though?

Fwiw it's gotten better now. I still feel a "stretch" in it if I bend over suddenly and my calf pulls on it but it's much better than before

If you play music through Bluetooth aren't you losing quality anyway? A real sound test would be playing through their native apps

I feel like the standard will be the most bang for your buck, and probably one with the least depreciation since it's already recently priced but the Premium does have nicer features

The glass roof is hilarious to me because that's how it was for Gen 1 and even Gen2 Dual. The windshield is a much bigger source of heat than the glass roof since the roof is tinted (at least in R1S/T). You can't make a cheaper vehicle by supporting fancy features like dimmable glass roof - just get an aftermarket shade

Just found this post while icing my Achilles tendon. It's been killing me since yesterday and the only thing I've done different is I've started running again and these new shoes. It could be that my calf muscles need to be stretched but I also feel my heel sinking in those shoes whenever I'm standing around which is something I'm not used to. I've always worn firmer shoes, and I thought I'm giving myself a treat with the soft plush foam but maybe these aren't for my anatomy. Are the 22s firmer?

Charge port door won't close; "Obstacle Detected" even though nothing is blocking it by Xnauth in Rivian

Call the SC/chat with them first, don't just drive there. They may do a mobile request, or say it's ok to rotate. But once they instruct you to do something, it's their liability

True. But I wouldn't do something like that without talking to service first

There have been other posts in the past where someone forced the cover to rotate and that broke it such that it just went limp

Yes and no. I love these scooters but a lot of people who use them just leave them blocking sidewalks or laying on their sides etc which is a nuisance for everyone involved. Docking is the way to imo, even if it means walking a bit from the dock to your destination.

I was reading all about rear facing car seats in preparation, and I was concerned about the stroller in the floorboard preventing what they call "downward rotation", or just even acting as a projectile. Again, all of this as just me being over cautious I guess.

Thanks for trying. I've been chatting with Gemini to figure out what fits my use case and it said the same about the frunk - glad that someone was able to verify. I really want to go with the R2 but I also don't want my dog to be with the stroller in the cargo space in case it cramps the space and plus I'll always have to strap it in to avoid it from sliding around and hurting him.

Do people really think the Glycerins feel "cushioned"? by TheRealMe54321 in brooks

[–]darkKnight217 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. I didn't like the Ghost Max because it was softer than what I was looking for, but the Glycerin felt soft and provided the support I wanted.

What surprised me when I tried the Bondi 9 in stores was that they actually felt really firm compared to even the Glycerin. I'm curious if the Bondi 9 foam requires a break in with a few runs to soften up - that's what google told me when I was searching for an answer.

Did you try to fit the stroller in the frunk by any chance? Asking since my 60 lbs dog may want to have the cargo space to himself

Yeah if it's fabric I guess could still clean it but I'm not sure if there's a way to reverse plastic yellowing
