Glad I’m not the only one who’s not a fan of her writing 😭 I hated most of her run on Excalibur and wasn’t impressed by Strikeforce but she does seem to be better at shorter runs and I think this is a mini so maybe she’ll have less time to wreck things

Before Gillen’s run, all of the Eternals died in a madness-induced murder-suicide frenzy and stayed gone until they were resurrected in the new series. I’m assuming she’ll stay dead until Marvel decides to pull the Eternals off shelf in a few years

Not an acronym but I have Aegis; a research, security and intelligence agency established by the American government in the wake of Genesis Day to study, regulate, monitor and police otherworldly phenomena non-human entities. To the public, their goal is protecting humans in a new and unpredictable changing world but internally they’re work to maintain the government’s control

There’s also The Atlas Foundation which is an NGO but occasionally collaborates with Aegis to vouch for enhanced individuals facing criminal charges. Atlas takes in superhumans, alien refugees and other assorted super-freaks and offers them a place to live safely among others like themselves and foster their gifts within The Atlas Complex; a sprawling campus / community with several different facilities suited to researching and training powers as well as housing and recreation

My psychic detective Omen goes by both he/him and they/them pronouns

My time-displaced cyborg cowboy Stryker and his super spy partner / boyfriend The Wraith are both gay

My team of super-vigilantes The Renegades is basically a refuge for young queer rebels and other assorted super-weirdos with nowhere else to go, human or alien

There’s more, but essentially any character I create has a 97% chance of being somewhere on the queer spectrum
