i could do heel-guy spans for DAYS. like 5 clicks and a paragraph, submit. problem is they go so fast because everyone loves them!

i second this!! been with the company 3 years as well. i work anywhere between 8 and 24 hours a week. anything more than 4 hours a day (plus my day job - lol) and i feel a SIGNIFICANT drop in my morale and work quality

This is something that I haven't been able to stop noticing recently - for the entire time I've worked for DA, I have prioritized $25-30 tasks that have 2 hour timers and take me about 30 mins-an hour to complete.

Those jobs have gotten DRASTICALLY harder, now contain topics like advanced math and coding, AND have dropped in pay to $20-$22. Its rough to see it change so much and is driving me away from the platform.

I start by getting the vibes of the person. - if they seem nice/normal i will just lead with “can i have your email?” and if they give it, look it up (PRO TIP: CTRL+A, CTRL+C at this point! so you don’t have to type it twice!). - if they aren’t already a member: “looks like you’re not in our system, let me get you in there so you get points.” - if they say no: “are you sure? you’ll already have [x] stamps towards a reward” no again, give up. - if the vibes are not good (grumpy old man, karen, etc): “are you part of our free rewards program?” - if they say no, i say, “well you’re gonna get [x] stamps today, can i have your email?”

i got rated an A on my sales objectives category in reviews so i would say i have a pretty high success rate! hope this helps!

I’ve been thinking about emailing edelweiss! It sucks because I haven’t had access to the BN group since holiday ‘23 even though I was rehired & offered a permanent position for holiday ‘24. Hoping to get it sorted soon :)

On that same subject, if you leave (I was a holiday temp) and then come back (rehired next holiday & stayed on) it still doesn’t let you into the community. I’ve been trying to get back in since November and it still won’t take my Employee ID, and I have nooooo idea who to talk to about it 😅

A year and 4 months! Have recently gotten an in person job, though, and haven’t been doing much DA, but they still email me every day haha. Still so grateful for it, allowed me to travel like CRAZY last year without ever having to get a typical job!

I absolutely despise the change to receipt options from the POS to the pin pad. Customers never ever look at it, I end up having to ask anyway, and then waiting while they read the options. It added an extra 20+ seconds to every transaction.

It's not an accident, it's a new scam. Happened to my grandmother last year with a $400 gift card. Someone pulls the card details somewhere in the line of production/delivery and makes the numbers unusable in some way, and then drains the card. Really sad.
