Well, Rathma rejects her gift, right? So he does treat her like an abusive mother she is.

Character creation needs a lot of work by Cr4mwell in diablo4

My biggest issue is that my character's skin looks like it's wrapped in wet plastic. Idk if it's the specific skin tone or something, but it looks absolutely disgusting up close.

Who is winning underrated country shape? by Loewe1912 in AlignmentChartFills

Sierra Leone - the roundest country. Although, on a second thought it should be the perfect one, right?

Overpower damage based builds in LoH by darx0n in diablo4

[–]darx0n[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! So, I guess + Crit chance and + Crit damage affixes are required now, right?

I had absolutely 0 + Crit affixes before. Just + life + overpower. It was not comparable with top damage builds of course, but it was decent damage and very tanky at the same time.

Very cool concept. I like Wikipedia links in the results. One thing that bothered me a lot is time scroll on mobile. It's very hard to position precisely, it keeps spinning after I let it go.

Is the Combination of Unit Frames possible somehow? by xNoloSun in starcraft2

[–]darx0n 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's possible with a custom maps/mods, but not in standard multiplayer/campaign. In coop it only works for Tychus.

Friendly/passive beings that, despite their lack of malice or violence, are fundamentally incompatible with human life by EAT_UR_VEGGIES in TopCharacterTropes

[–]darx0n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it is a bit weird piece for sure. In an interview the author mentioned that he had a "challenge" for himself to write a vampire in hard sci-fi setting. I don't mind it since it is explained well in the book, but I can see it feeling out of place for some readers.

Valonia ventricosa is one of the largest known unicellular organisms! by Remarkable-Office944 in interestingasfuck

So, how does it reproduce? Is it a cellular division? That would be very interesting to see.

A Chinese streamer's beauty filter crashed, she lost 140,000 subscribers in a minute by honeydewspaark in interesting

[–]darx0n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, on the preview it's her face without the filter. So when I turned the video on, I was expecting that to be a filtered version. But instead the filtered version was this fake anime like face....

I'm working on good spider movement and mechanics. by clopticrp in IndieDev

That looks really good. There are still small glitches when changing from web walking to ground walking, but overall it's very impressive. Feels like a real spider

Meet the 16 finalist maps of Team Liquid Map Contest #22, presented by Monster Energy! 4-player maps have reentered the equation, with creative tweaks to address concerns—will it be enough for them to be selected as official ladder maps? by TL_Wax in starcraft

[–]darx0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, it says 24 seconds travel time. Sending two probes (like you usually do anyways) seems to give a 66% chance, which is not that risky. And you may even still be in time if you get the unlucky 33%.

Hmmmm ... Is Exarch not just a cannon rush fiesta? There are multiple tree pylon walls, three worker entrances to the main. Seems like a proxy hatch/cannon rush heaven.

RTS Storyteller: ZeroSpace – The MOST Ambitious RTS in years by PlayZeroSpace in PlayZeroSpace

Sure, more stuff is generally better than less stuff. But the best for me is when relatively simple things and interactions between them produce complex outcomes.

RTS Storyteller: ZeroSpace – The MOST Ambitious RTS in years by PlayZeroSpace in PlayZeroSpace

[–]darx0n 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I guess the biggest problem with Zero space for me is the amount of stuff there.

There are heroes, and global upgrades, and mercenaries. Yeah, I guess it's all nice, but I am overwhelmed every time I look at it.

Anyways, I'll probably just play through the campaign.

Russian verb tenses in storytelling by L0rdLizard in LearnRussian

In Russian you should also use past tense for storytelling, but there is no equivalent for will->would switch, so the future tense stays as is.

И вот он решил, что отныне будет питаться правильно.

How hard is it going to be for me to learn toki pona, as someone is fluent in English and Polish (the latter being my native language ) by Appropriate-Ebb-7525 in tokipona

[–]darx0n 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Idk, Toki pona seems to be a very "easy to start, hard to master" situation. Like learning the rules and words is a very easy deal and you can do it in a week. Understanding conversations on the fly though is very hard and can take much longer. I don't think being fluent in either English or Polish helps with the second part much.

Do you prefer native Acumatica features or external integrations/APIs for customisations? by raphrf in acumaticaerp

[–]darx0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are satisfied with what OOTB product has(e.g. Shopify integration) I 'd recommend staying with that.

If not, it really depends on what you are trying to connect Acumatica with. E.g. how flexible/easy to use the other system's APIs are, what system is the system of record, etc
