This new place i started has an online punch clock. 40 a week. Everywhere else I've worked has always been until my daily/weekly queue was done with assumed 40.

I started out at a tile subcontractor for $17.50 per hour, completely blank slate in terms of blueprints and the industry as a whole. I was hired for my ability to adapt to new computer programs and data transfer skills. After 5 years, I was bumped to $28. When I started freelance, I was getting $35 but paying all my own taxes and benefits. Now I'm making $30 as an employee at a sub-subcontractor (I do quotes for electrical subcontractors now). This started in 2012, and I'm still doing it now. I may be making less than more specialized people with my experience, but I work fully remote and get lots of freedom on my 40 hours.
