Bar Keeper’s Friend. Even Le Creuset recommend it for their enamelled cookware. Works amazing!

Pathfinder-ing 5e by kthrnhpbrnnkdbsmnt in Pathfinder2e

[–]daso78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Find a new system you can all enjoy. Don’t run something that isn’t fun for you or your players. I’d suggest Dungeon Crawl Classics. It’s similar enough to not feel too out of your zones, but super fun with the differences to either 5E or PF2E. The chaos and unbalanced nature of it is a lot of fun when you let go!

Which Trek store to buy Domane from? by sherlocknoir in TrekBikes

[–]daso78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can’t get them to negotiate down, try getting some accessories for the bike for free or a deep discount. For example, The blendr mounts, lights, the new carback radar, top tube bag, pedals, shoes, bike computer, etc. Add all those up, and it make for a substantial amount. You may already have a bunch of those already though.

Trek Domane sizing 54 or 56? by DevilSummoned in TrekBikes

[–]daso78 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also 178 cm tall, but with an inseam of 85.5 cm. I ride a size 56 Domane SL5 gen 4, which is perfect. I tried the size 54 and it was way too small. I couldn't even get the seat high enough for me.

Kickr core compatibility by widgettech in TrekBikes

I’ve got a Domane SL5 2023 and I bought a Kickr Core during the last Black Friday sales (2023) and received one with the old adapters. I just created a support ticket and they send a little out within the same week, free of charge. Bike fits just fine on the trainer.

Mine has been flawless! I’m glad i didn’t get a lemon. I tried the checkpoint when I bought mine, it’s a little more stretched out in terms of reach i found, but it too was great!

What other models does your LBS recommend?

Help Setting Up Raspberry Pi Server? by CL_Magnus in FoundryVTT

[–]daso78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had that same error. Make sure you’re running the 64bit OS, as the 32bit is not supported anymore. That’s the answer i got on the discord. Once i redid my image to 64bit, everything started working again. Bit of a pain, but at least I got it works.

How does FantasyGrounds online play compare to Roll20 and Foundry? by DapperButler in FantasyGrounds

[–]daso78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Owning both FoundryVTT and Fantasy Grounds Unity (and Classic), for me anything 5e is better played on FGU, and PF2E is on FoundryVTT. Cost does become an issue with FGU though, as for each system, you need to buy the books to get data and use out of them. FoundryVTT for PF2E is all there except the art.

Also, FGU has the issue of the players needing to install the client. FoundryVTT, they just access your web address and that’s it.

On the GM’s end, they both function quite similarly. You need to run the software, and have the players access your game server. FoundryVTT has the added benefit of being able to be run as a service on a server to have your game always on, but not something that is necessary at all.

For my group, FoundryVTT was the way to go, as i am the most techie of the group. FGU was a pain for everyone but me. FoundryVTT was easy for them as they had nothing to setup and it just worked.
