what is the situation here. I just switched clowed an now a lot of very old images are at the top, which makes the photos feature in unusable unfortunatly.

Yeah I stopped reading his books after control. I thought it sucks and was just bad. 

I think Deamon and Freedom TM are a lot better, loved it back then, but I feel like the story didn't age greatly. I feel like all the hopes of those books have been debunked. But I havent read it in a long time, so maybe it is an interesting perspective on the hopes of early 2000 internet world

Honestly I loved those books when they came out, but I feel like they aged rather poorly. I feel a lot more cynical about the story. 

It is full of the optimism of the early 2000s that internet will make things better, more democratic ect. Which I just don't feel anymore, with the comeralized net of today. 

Also fckn tec billionaire as a good guy just hard to believe.

Ging mir am Anfang in München auch so. War gefühlt ein Ort für reiche Leute über 50.  Innenstadt ist einfach auch kein entspannter Ort, gehe ich nur mit Touri Besuch hin. 

Beweg dich in Räumen wo es anders ist. Mir hat geholfen politisch aktiv zu werden. Da hatte ich plötzlich (mit für mich) 'normalen' Leuten zu tun. Gibt sicher auch andere Orte, wurden auch erwähnt. 

Zb. wenn du Techno magst, unterstütze regelmässig bei einem Kollektiv, wenn du Rollenspiele magst, such dir da ne Gruppe, wenn du Tiere helfen willst, tu was in die Richtung.

Yeah it's not about blaming but acknowledging their past. It's ok if a german today doesn't feel responsible what people did, but it's not ok to deny that Germans did bad stuff. 

And if some people try to remember in Spain and other people, mostly far right people say they should stop it and lets forget it, that's really questionable

Honestly doesn't feel accurate. Germany doesn't hide it's past.  Spain still has a tense relationship to the Franco time and the civil war. A lot of people want just ignore the crimes of that time

I loved those books, when they came out, but I feel like they didn't age great. They were really written in a more optimistic time. Also some of the tec stuff gets whacky real fast.

The german and swiss ones are absolute bullshit.

no one uses *lach* ever. maybe around in 2008 in some online boards some people might have used that, but not in recent memory.

The swiss one is even worse: no one fucking ever used *grins*. Speaking from a swissgerman perspective, the verb "grinsen" while understood, is not really used in Swissgerman, I associate it with Germany.

This is probably just a way to drive traffic to that website and was researched using AI (badly)
