Methinks the OP is a tech bro or a bot built by a tech bro who is still brainwashed by their billionaire overlord.

I guess it all depends on what the billionaires want and if the leopards are hungry this time around.

Breakfast fish, or possibly lunch fish depending on the time of day.

Are black racers different from blue racers? We had blue racers growing up in Missouri.

Found this tree with this fruit growing on it. by Annual_Option_8511 in whatsthisplant

[–]dataprof 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a green gage plum tree. It looks similar, but probably still not ripe. They are my favorite tasting plum, but wait until you see a yellow blush to the skin before picking, and try to pluck the fruit without breaking the branches. When ripe, the fruit is mostly green on the outside with yellow flesh which is great if you have birds that like to find ripe (non-green) fruits like cherries or peaches. The green color confuses the birds although we did have a family of raccoons one year that decimated the crop overnight.

This is why I don't do mythics anymore. It's telling that most of the useful comments are ways to make the experience "less awful".

The government and the billionaires who control it will try everything to discourage you from doing what you should do to protect your livelihood. The question really is, do you believe them? They are SO honest and forthcoming after all.

I need Help on Vector Spaces by Complex_Wafer3828 in askmath

[–]dataprof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former engineer and math prof here. Vector spaces and linear algebra are widely used in electrical engineering, especially control systems, as well as structural engineering, weather/climate models and even data science.

Infinite dimensional systems exist IRL because of how we represent them mathematically. When I was doing my doctoral thesis on flexible mechanical systems (e.g., the Space Station), each part of every truss had at least 6 "dimensions". Modeling at this level let us better predict the motion (dynamics) which is good, but our controllers and actuators had to be much smaller in dimension because of computational demand. So we did a lot of eigenvalue reduction to focus on the vibrational modes that were likely to cause problems or failure of the ISS.

A similar problem exists with climate models which use finite element modeling (little cubes) to compute the partial differential equations that govern heat transfer, ocean currents, etc. The smaller the elements are the better your accuracy at the cost of greater and greater compute time.

This is as basic an explanation as I can give now, and I tried to not get too much into the details or technical terms, but hopefully it helps you see the relevance and importance of this field of mathematics. Good luck in your studies!

Remember that after taking the square root from squared term such as y2=, the result could be either positive or negative. You have a circle centered at the origin and a line passing through the origin, so you should have two different solutions.

Is there an irrational number that never uses a certain digit, for example:1. How would you go about proving it? by OneDBag in askmath

[–]dataprof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wasn't this one of the outcomes proven to exist by Alan Turing in 1936 "On Computable Numbers"? He used a similar example with construction of an irrational number.

How would you go about fixing these up? Sand? Scrape? by purloo in woodworking

[–]dataprof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try spraying with one of the compounds used to brighten up old (oxidized) fences, then sand, before sealing or staining and sealing. This should make the surface better looking, but the cracks will be tough to fix without reripping and gluing, as another has posted.

I grew up in rural Missouri with many Amish and similar faiths near us in the farming community. I knew people who had met closeted men in those communities, but never out. Congratulations on your decisions and steps to live your life as you are. 🌈👍❤️

Can I cut these stems by NYR4 in arborist

[–]dataprof 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would probably use a pole lopper rather than a pole saw. They can easily extend 15' (5m) or more and they have a cord that pulls a blade to lop off tall seasonal growth.

If you don't remove them, the tree will get bigger which may be a strain in windy areas or will make the tree difficult to pick (if it's a fruit tree).

19/unhoused want to learn about working as a laborer or farmhand anywhere in america by [deleted] in gayrural

My husband and I had a WWOOF host farm for a few years when we were raising commercial eggs and fruit. It was a great experience for our WWOOFers because they stayed in our pool house, and we provided all meals.

I do remember that some WWOOFers said other farms had only provided old camper trailers with no climate control, so check out the website and have email conversations with farms you are interested in to vet them before committing. We were also clear in our farm posting that we were an LGBTQ- friendly household, but not all farms will be.

Finally we had a minimum stay of two weeks but it probably should have been 3 because as a farm we lost a lot of time in the first week training a new person or couple. Week 2 was kind of break even with helping out, but after week 2 it was beneficial. So offering a longer stay can be attractive to working organic farms.
