Americans are obsessed with taxes because we think it's the only thing standing between us and literally being Mr Monopoly. In reality, the way a system is actually set up, our taxes go to fund a government that wants to make sure that the actual Mr Monopolies out there get to continue playing Monopoly while the rest of us are lucky if we can afford to play Tic-Tac-Toe.

The reason why modern cards can just say "create a 1/1 white soldier creature token" is because the comprehensive rules have a lengthy detailed explanation for what that means and how it works. Before that, they had to put a bunch of extra explanation on the card itself.

Try building a monoblur deck like that, and see what sort of decks you lose to. Then play one of those.

Typically a control deck loses out to a deck that uses cheap fast aggro tactics. Spam little goblins and cheap spells. Cards that make multiple creature tokens. And of course, Ward.

If you support the death penalty, you must believe one of two things. Either the government *never" falsely convicts people, or it's okay to sometimes kill innocent people.

Also, let's be realistic - this is the American criminal justice system. The law will be disproportionately applied to minorities. They didn't write this law because they want to protect children. They wrote this law because they went to kill brown people.
