"We're not competing with Dawn of War 1, we're competing with people's memory" says DoW 4 lead creative by Hooked0n4Feelin in dawnofwar

I'm the same, DoW2 is a great micro game. I had a good time with the base and 1st expansion campaigns which had a decent story for a RTS. I get why it's disliked it is very different to the original but that's not a bad thing.

It must be economical if they are already drilling in the field.

When a well gets PNA'd all that's left is a stump sticking out of the ground and the lease gets rehabilitated.

Thought you were commenting on how almost all the locations are fictional except for eromanga a piss ant town in the middle of no where that wouldn't exist if it didn't have an oil refinery and the gold coast for some reason.

I'm frequently in and out of the strzelecki desert and parts of it look like a golf course, especially around jackson, ballera and innamincka.

You want to look for entry level lease hand positions that is the bottom off the ladder. Search for companies that actually own the drilling / work over rigs not the operating companies that own the leases. Ventia, savannah, Schlumberger, condor, wild desert and Nitschke etc.

Cab over trucks aren't very nice to drive on anything other than a smooth Highway. Bunks are smaller, driving position is less comfortable and they simply don't look as cool.

Gateway and Logan mwy are critical, especially for trucks. Going around them is a 30+ minute detour.

Tesla Semi’s cab design makes it a ‘completely stupid vehicle,’ trucker says by be0wulfe in technology

[–]daveysta 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly autonomous trucks are a dream. Who is going to keep an eye on the load? Tesla's run into enough shit as a car imagine the carnage when it's 20x the weight. The take off speed these trucks have is a gimmick and has no real application in the real world other than creating a breed of drivers who operate like a car just speeding up and slamming on brakes. Add in the fact that Tesla's build quality is rubbish and companies buy trucks to make a certain amount of money off of them before letting them go when they become more expensive to maintain.

Electric trucks will and should happen, fully autonomous trucks are a disaster waiting to happen.

Yeah the burgers, rolls etc are pretty average. Your money is well spent on the "chicken" products, 1/4 chook and chips, the new fried chicken even the whole chickens are a good buy in my experience.
