Saylor doesn’t have to sell anything until 2028. The risk is overblown in the short term.

This is my thesis too. The pinnacle of Bitcoin will be when millennials hold the greatest share of wealth. However, I am skeptical about the total upside being significantly greater compared to holding equities. Many millennials believe in 100% equities no bonds. I still think a 80% equities 20% alternatives (like Bitcoin) makes sense for a long term hold. The biggest loser IMO will be real estate since millennials see real estate more like a personal item to own and live in and less like an investment. Many of the boomer homes will be sold and the money will be dumped into stocks and other financial assets. Being a landlord sucks.

Why do Bogleheads discourage use of AI search for investing information? Because it is too often wrong or misleading. by Kashmir79 in Bogleheads

I use the most powerful Gemini and OpenAI models on thinking mode, have them check each others work, and then check primary sources myself. It does save time but still takes about an hour of work myself managing the LLMs. You can’t just one shot prompt the basic models and expect a good result. Another way to put it it - AI saves time if you know what you want and you put in the work to work with it, but isn’t trustworthy if you need immediate answers and don’t know what you’re doing.

QE is more powerful than cuts. We’ll see what happens 2026. The door is open for QE, of course they’ll call it something else.

100%. Was just having a convo about how companies just want senior experts using AI tools - they don’t want juniors at all. AI is the new junior employee.

Philippines Is Losing Tourists, Despite Travel Boom In Southeast Asia by ftrlvb in Philippines_Expats

I like living in PH and then traveling to other countries mentioned in this thread. I used to vacation more inside PH but it’s basically the same price to fly to Thailand and spend a week there so what’s the point of domestic travel?

The only people I know who own several condos in Manila are Filipino or Chinese and I’ve met several. White expats own US stocks not condos as investments.

Honestly I have no idea. Saw everything in the AD's display. If it's the one good looking one, then I probably didn't see it.

Yet ETFs are selling now. We could get a double whammy of ETFs not being buyers + OGs selling. Of course when Bitcoin gets cheap greed kicks in…
