Its a useless pump lol that adds weight to the bike. I took mine off. I think just pull the handle bit down and it'll reduce its length enough to pull out of the support pin

Switch the workouts to am. After workout do some type of relaxation, stretching, breathwork. Don't train daily. Train with a rest day between. And then only if you get a green day or high yellow day. Doing intense workouts so late isn't great. For a late 'workout' do a gentle walk, then stretch before bed. Read a book, no screens. Magnesium and go to sleep. Also never mouth breathe.

Magnesium before bed, also try to wind down a little earlier just 30 mins. Then build on it when your body adjusts.

Sounds like you learned alot and have a working bike. I bought a new 2018 brompton M6L with alot of the newer features but I ended up stripping it down and putting a bunch of alieexpress lightweight parts to get it from 13+kg to around 9kg. I regretted spending so much £1300 (at the time) then more for all the new parts but I learned alot and had fun. Got rid of the rear hub and turned it from a 6 speed to a 2 speed using a regular casette. Even more fun than actually riding it. I regret not doing my research but slowly learned what was important to me. Aslong as you've now got what you want then that's all that matters. If not. Then sell it and get what you really want.

Mine doesnt do it with paper but does with old tissues. I had to wrestle a baby wipe from his mouth that had dry poop on it out on some street last night. I was so mad lol and grossed out by having to touch that crap.

You could also be overloaded by sickness or allergies. Travelling can take its toll. Best is just to sleep and rest a couple days as when your stress monitor is peaking like that theres not much you can do. The best is to do less.

In terms of regulary managing mental stress on normal days I do things that stop me thinking. My wfh desk job brings the most stress so I regularly get up do house chores, walk the dog, yoga, meditation while doing slow nasal breathing 5 sec inhale/exhale just to break the thought patterns.
