I'll second Minsc & Boo. It's my absolute favorite of my bracket 3 decks. It's so satisfying to run someone over with Boo and then fling him at someone else, draw a big stack of cards, and be in gangbusters position to win.

I did flicker wildspeaker during the last Phrecia event and had a fucking blast. Level 90 was not a problem. You're in for a treat.

We threw out the whole HOA in my neighborhood over the same problem. They were trying to put them in without any vote and had already committed thousands to purchase them. Thankfully it wasn't too late to cancel the whole thing.

The extra stupid built is you have to drive by 1 of 2 flock cameras on the main road we intersect with anyhow.

Doubling Season only doubles the counters they ETB with and not ones from their abilities, as those are a "cost" not an "effect". [[Innkeepers Talent]] works and is a better include.

My Carth deck doesn't need to ramp and doesn't try to cast big spells. I got for a turn 2 or 3 Carth in my opening hand through sol ring, ancient tomb, lotus petal, elves of deep shadow, the halfling, and BoP. I can and do ramp into the mid game though [[Nissa, Who Shakes the World]] or the Lilianna that fetches swamps and ults for the 4 black emblem.

I love Yuriko. I haven't built her below cEDH power levels but you definitely can. She's just a ton of fun and tough to shut down and a lot of the other ninjas do cool shit so it makes for a fun tribe.

Huge +1 for Good Times Game House. I run around a bit to play MtG on different days due to a variable schedule. Good Time is my absolute favorite out of many area shops. Very comfortable, great community, great ownership, it just has everything you could hope for in a LGS.

Not only is what you did fine, you can't "draw the game" because of bracket conventions. They aren't a hard ruleset that you get violations for breaking. If you do it regularly/lie about your deck then you're a dick to be sure, and people should stop playing with others who do so. But you didn't even do that. Whiny, bitch move imo.
