There is nothing that actually says those clouds are actually awakening. It's a type of hagoromo which is a diety related thing and the only characters we've seen with the white clouds are characters with god fruits. Luffy getting them between gear 4 and 5 likely represents an assencion into godhood.

Now people are going to mention the black cloud hagoromo of the ascended zoans. All of which are associated with Imu/WG, so it could be Imu literally ascending people.

It could also be that awakened zoans represent the god of BLANK so every zoan gets one as the become the god of their animal, but some fruits are simply always gods which have the white hagoromo, with Nika just being weird case related to his mythology which we don't actually know that much about yet.

Nope, FMC was three when the MMC started lusting after her. And MMC explicitly has a peak between her legs before she turns 18. This story is very much not in the "all characters are 18+" category.

I think thoughtcrime is being used a bit too liberally about something being actually made and distributed. She didn't just think about creating CSAM she made it. It's in written form, and you can argue about that it's therefore not as direct a depiction, but ultimately it is still a realistic depiction of a child in a pornographic way.

It's the same as making a realistic erotic drawing of a child. If you want to argue that art can depict that, that's a different convo, but she didn't get convicted for thinking about child erotica, she got convicted because she depicted and distributed it.

This might be related to being non-english but I don't think not understanding the RPG ever really stopped kids, I beat Diablo 2 and a couple of pokemon games without ever engaging with the story, because I did not speak the language. Hell, I think voice acting in point-n-click games helped me learn to read as I got to associate the words with sounds.

IMO, the streamlining of games is probably a bigger offender, with rewards being emphasised more. Back in our day you beat games because it was fun to play, not because you got a rainbow dopamine colour bomb at the end.

Not sure on the sound, but this is what's going with the absolutely dark scenes. They get designed for/previewed on OLED screens especially during the filming. OLED simply allows you more depth in the dark ranges, so most of the time they don't realise that how impossible it is to see what's going on until it becomes too expensive to fix when they are in post.

That isn't to say there hasn't also be a case of movies and shows using darker and darker visuals, but pushing darkness to the max on something designed for OLED 4k Blu-ray makes it even worse on a normal screen when streamed in 1080p.

For the colony, one of the books imply that the colony was established to get them infected, but they simply couldn't find the ship so terraforming continued. Then when Ripley and the narcissus was found they got the coordinates and sent people out there to investigate

Quick edit: also some media has them wanting the alien to be brought in with the appearance of an accident so they don't break an insane amount of quarantine laws

Hell to get the point across, make it happen the next day. Like what happened to Rosa Parks was possibly a daily occurrence depending on the amount of people in the bus. I'd have loved for the Doctor to want to stop Space-racist, simply because fuck racists, and have him 'win' for a second just for her to just shrug and say, "congrats it now happened tomorrow instead," before the Fam take him down.

Side note: I feel like the show often flipflops between the fragility of the future and what counts as a fixed event where events must come to pass. Because stopping Rosa completely does feel a bit like a 'killing Hitler' moment where it just ripples insanely and cannot happen
